Recent remarks made by MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell on his show, “The Last Word,” are garnering criticism by some after he used Ann Romney’s use of dressage equine therapy to combat the effects of her multiple sclerosis as campaign fodder. Fox News and Fox Business host Neil Cavuto is no stranger to the disease, as he himself lives with multiple sclerosis. On Wednesday’s ‘Your World,’ he spoke out against O’Donnell’s remarks, saying they were factually incorrect and he couldn’t remain silent.

Lawrence O'Donnell doesn't deserve an audience. I'm glad Neal Cavuto set the record straight. How can people sink so low as to criticize therapy someone uses for an incurable disease? I know lots of people who aren't rich who ride. They work to pay for it, or they do without so they can indulge their hobby. What's wrong with that? Americans can spend their money however they want, as long as they earned it. It's the welfare spending on unhealthy or luxury items most of us object to.

I thought I was done, but I'm not. If this was some welfare mother needing horse therapy for her ms, I'm betting O'Donnell and his colleagues would be better informed and would talk nonstop about how the govt, i.e. taxpayers, should pony up to pay for it. Pun intended.
