Why the Non-Romneys Have No Chance of Winning the Nomination, Part III

The Math below. This race is no longer about whether Santorum can gain enough delegates. He cannot. This race is about whether Romney will get to 1,144. Santorum and Gingrich hope to stop him and thus bring chaos and maybe a brokered convention.

(Note: As always, it should be noted that California and NJ are winner-take-all by district, so the winner of the state does not necessarily win all of the delegates. However, the winner of the state is likely to win almost all of them. So consider the caveat when looking at the percentages).

Where's the outrage from the GOP? Why aren't Santorum and Gingrich being raked through the coals for even proposing to "take Mitt down" and force a brokered convention. How can anyone believe this is how we will win the presidency back in 2012? I'm not hearing enough outrage!

No brokered convention. Santorum is now only running to weaken Mitt and assure Obamas reelection. Santorum is only in also to remain the runner-up, and thinks if Mitt loses to Obama, he being the runner-up becomes automatic frontrunner in 2016. Sorry Rick but if Mitt does lose to Obama, a whole hell of a lot more better candidates will be running in 2016.

What a selfish, pompous, ego-maniac if he thinks this country can survive another 4 years of Obama - in hopes of being the presidential choice in 2012. If the majority of the voters don't want him now, why would we want him then?

I meant 2016.

Do not see how Obama can beat Mitt Romney in November. The #1 issue is the economy, specifically jobs. American voters would have to be self-destructive to allow Obama to continue ruining the economy he does not appear to know how to handle.

Change the length to 502, and the height to 290.

It's currently 750 x 433. It's in the body of your post.

Yeah, unfortunately I could find any numbers to chance since I copied it from a PDF. So I had to cut off Gingrich and Paul's numbers

You can save it to photobucket first. That creates a URL for the image, which can be resized after you add it to your post.

This whole playing games with a brokered convention--and the future of the country-- will only piss off Independents.

Especially with the Independent repellant, Santorum, who is not a fiscal conservative. Why vote for somebody, with the current economic mess, who is not a fiscal conservative? There's no reason to.

Santorum and Gingrich need to get the hell out of the way so the party can get down to the business of kicking Obama out of office.

Enough with the game playing and time wasting already!!!

Well, I bet there are plenty of purists out there who would be happy to take this to the end..after all, if they have to make a choice between killing the Rino and winning the election they are going for the dead Rino. They don't really care about who wins the general.

I love this spreadsheet. Keep it up Pablo. If we were more number oriented in this country we wouldn't be in the debt crisis we are currently in. Thanks, PN
