I don't even have to go to Their article. I can see on their link that they refer to Romney as "Mittens". Do they have nick names for Newt and Rick as well? When you find one, post a link.
Scoop only used the words that came out of Mitt's mouth. You can choose to pretend that it's fine, but I know you would have preferred that he didn't say that. You would never say that.
Did you all notice how classy Romney was in this interview? After Hannity replayed Santorum's rant against Fox, Romney came back with an even keel, diplomatic answer: "No, I don't think Fox is shilling for any one candidate."
Whether or not he truly believes that, who knows. But his answer shows the type of skill needed when confronted with a potentially heated situation. Mitt is really good, on the whole, at avoiding trap questions like that.
I also like the answer he gave about Afghanistan. If you remember, Obama was all gung ho to get out of Iraq and Afghanistan while he was campaigning in 2008. Once he got in office, his base was none to pleased that this didn't happen immediately. Romney knows that he does not have all the information, Obama gets the intel updates daily and knows the situation better. Once Romney gets in that loop and can be a decision maker in the process, he will be able to make a proper informed decision.
Finally, I would agree with Romney. We're finally back in a recovery. There are lots of jobs being offered. I had a recruiter call me with 20 opportunities in Dec. and another call me yesterday with other opportunities. I'm not necessarily in the market to move, but that's a lot of jobs that are becoming available. It doesn't mean that the price oil and gas may or may not kill the recovery, it very well might, but that doesn't change the past few months were there has been some growth. As anon@11:32 stated, I'm much more likely to trust the Harvard graduate that has proved himself in the business world... where his successes are now case studies at Harvard than to trust a newsblog.
RW, With this latest gaffe, I think Romney should replace Biden on the Progressive ticket. Romney would give Obama the additional boost he needs to win. His remarks are truly bizarre.
@Machtyn, Your comments are interesting but inconclusive. Moreover, your projecting your experience on to the general economy with your anecdotal experience. You state:

Very well then, let's look at the facts starting from this morning's Industrial Production report. The charts will show amateurs like you the trend:
Now, on to employment to rebut your argument that "a lot of jobs that are becoming available." Perhaps you could give us your analysis of these charts furnished by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. I presume Romney has access to this information as we all do. Why did he miss it?

If war erupts in Iran, Obama will have favorable support from the public on patriotic grounds. Romney's giving up the economic issue to Obama is another problem as he's already ceded the Obama Care individual mandate issue. Do tell me the difference between Obama & Romney again?

That was a good interview.
ROMNEY: “I believe we’re in a recovery mode, finally.”
HANNITY: “You really think so?”

Thank's jackass.

it doesn't matter that they use the quote. With gas prices climbing whatever recovery there is will be short-lived.
Anyone else notice that Sean was a lot nicer this time around?
Bosman,

Right Wingnut:
I'll take the word of a turned around guy who understands economy any time above yours, with due respect.
Anon,
What is a "turned around" guy? Is that flip flop lingo?

Romney is really striking good chords. Keep it up Mitt!

Yes, Hannity knows he's talking to the next President, and he asked to get the exclusive on Romney's VP pick.
