Magellan Poll: Santorum with large lead over GOP in LOUISIANA

GOP Nomination:

Rick Santorum 37%
Mitt Romney 24%
Newt Gingrich 21%
Buddy Roemer 3%
Ron Paul 3%
Rick Perry 3%
Michele Bachmann 2%
Jon Huntsman 1%
Undecided 6% 

And if the Republican primary were being held today and the only candidates were, Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum, for whom would you vote?

Rick Santorum 55%
Mitt Romney 34%
Undecided 11%
A survey of 2,018 likely primary voters was conducted March 19, 2012. The MOE is +/-2.18%.

Skip it, Mitt. Let the others duke it out. Concentrate on winnable states. BTW, Santorum winning the Deep South is absolutely hilarious.

It's a "fixed sum" game. Romney needs 25% of the Louisiana vote to get delegates, and prevent Santorum from taking them.
Also it's amazing that the populace is still voting for Huntsman, Bachmann, Perry and even Roemer. Is this a current poll? Or are they that far behind the times?
