Death Panels Return

I kid you not, Dick Morris has a video out today that features him ominously warning his audience that if Obamacare is not repealed, some of them will die! There may be profound reasons to repeal Obamacare, but Morris' rant has the feel of a very cheaply-constructed slab of yellow journalism. He also showcases the same hard-hitting, investigative journalism that led Sarah Palin to not understand the concept of the Medicare Independent Payment Advisory Board. Morris seems to think that these "death panels" would prevent an 80 year-old woman from receiving medicine that could cure her.

$10,000 to anyone who can produce evidence that shows that Morris' assertion is even remotely true.

Mediscaring used to be in the Democrats' playbook. Not any more.

Luckily for us, the sup. ct. decision will shut up the social cons and the left for a while.

Pay up. The death panel is real and it is on page 29. Every Nationalized Health Care system has a review panel that decides who gets what treatment. They are especially big on denying care to old, mental and physically handicapped. Please send the check soon since everyone in my family is laid off. I'll take the word of the neurosurgeon over Obama toadies. Majority of patients for neurosurgeons are over 70. "Ethics Committees" would decide whether neurosurgeon can operate. ObamaCare only provides for "comfort care", not surgery for anyone over 70 years old.

ObamaCare doesn't even call them patients, they refer to patients as "units."

Mark Levin remarked: "Those making decisions about whether you should operate or not don't even know how to make a pencil, do they?"

Surgeon: "Exactly."

Just to be clear, many of us are long lived. In my famiy members usually live 10 to 20 years past 70. This is pure murder. It would be like saying people over 60 can't have heart surgery. Stroke is the heart attack of the brain, a brain attack. They aren't fatal.

DEATH PANELS.

Please see the next comment, because I put to bed those who mock the mere notion of "conspiracy."

A conspiracy is when two or more talk about ways to not comply with law. This is focus'd on commerce and export trade, but it shows how juvenile it is to imply that "conspiracy' equals "fantasy."
The American Revolution was called a conspiracy, but that doesn't mean that it didn't happen.

"Blacklist by History"
Published November 6, 2007
Accused of creating a bogus Red Scare ... that conventional image {of Senator Joseph McCarthy} is all wrong ... author M. Stanton Evans reveals in this groundbreaking book.

Drawing on primary sources—including never-before-published government records and FBI files, as well as recent research gleaned from Soviet archives and intercepted transmissions between Moscow spymasters and their agents in the United States—Evans presents irrefutable evidence of a relentless Communist drive to penetrate our government, influence its policies, and steal its secrets.

Most shocking of all, he shows that U.S. officials supposedly guarding against this danger not only let it happen but actively covered up the penetration.

All of this was precisely as Joe McCarthy contended.

Blacklisted by History shows, for instance, that the FBI knew as early as 1942 that J. Robert Oppenheimer, the director of the atomic bomb project, had been identified by Communist leaders as a party member; that high-level U.S. officials were warned that Alger Hiss was a Soviet spy almost a decade before the Hiss case became a public scandal; that a cabal of White House, Justice Department, and State Department officials lied about and covered up the Amerasia spy case; and that the State Department had been heavily penetrated by Communists and Soviet agents before McCarthy came on the scene.

Evans also shows that practically everything we’ve been told about McCarthy is false,

... "Blacklisted by History" provides the first accurate account of what McCarthy did and, more broadly, what happened to America during the Cold War.

Evans’s revelations completely overturn our understanding of McCarthy, McCarthyism, and the Cold War; ... Joe McCarthy and his campaign to unmask Communists, Soviet agents, and flagrant loyalty risks working within the U.S. government.
