Petulant Rick

pet·u·lant/ˈpeCHələnt/

Adjective:
(of a person or their manner) Childishly sulky or bad-tempered.

Mitt Romney has been dealt a particularly rotten hand when it comes to his competitors. With exception of Ron Paul the anti-Romney candidates have demonstrated a lack of character, cordiality, and sportsmanship. In the wake of Romney's 38% to 31% win in the CPAC straw poll, Rick Santorum has suggested that Mitt Romney "rigged" the results. Conveniently, Santorum failed to recognize that the former Governor also won the nationwide CPAC poll. We would like to ask Rick how Romney "rigged" that exactly?

America needs a leader, not a petulant boy who will pout, shift blame, and make excuses about national and international crisis. We already have a president who refuses to accept responsibility and leadership. Santorum's character is unsportsmanlike and ungentlemanly. Mitt Romney and Ron Paul on the other hand have been consistently gracious and cordial in defeat and in victory. Newt Grinch and Rick Santorum have given us a preview of how they would act if elected to the highest office. We expect dignity and leadership in the White House, not petulance and impotence. The President should reflect the best of America and the one thing we detest most is a poor sport. Rick Santorum is right about one thing, "character matters."

Yeah right..Rick did not win so it has to be rigged. I have never seen so many sore losers and cry babies in one primary. They can say what they want about those old guys like Dole and Bush 1 and that generation..but at least they knew how to act like grown men.

I agree! Santorum joins both Ron Paul and Gingrich as the biggest cry babies in an election. Mitt does not whine. He is a gentleman and would never stoop as low as the other candidates have. Rick should be grateful right now that he is getting the media's attention for free. Mitt does not need to go attack the others on the Sunday shows. I have a feeling we will see more of this from Santorum when the onion begins to get peeled. He is in for a rude awakening.

Is this what Conservatism has come to?

Can you imagine REagan behaving like Newt or Little Ricky Sissypants?

Talk about makijg hard to vote for a guy should the GOP go nuts and actually nominate this jackass (newt or Rick).

I have to respect the person I vote for and behavior like this doesn't generate any.

Change your diapers Ricky.

So true about Rick. Wingnut gave us the same excuse line; but Mitt got the standing ovation. More importantly, Ann Coulter has Mitt's back; her humorous dialog can sway many supporters in Romney's favor by the busload.

I like the calm, assured, reserved and thoughtful intelligence that I see in Mitt Romney

Rick Santorum is a consummate pantywaist. He is so unpresidential in the way he attacks Romney. Newt is just as bad. I agree 100% with the opinion. Ron Paul and Romney are the only gentlemen in the race.
