It's nice to see people who take the time to observe the real Romney, rather than just buy the caricature. Most pundits are just too lazy to bother learning who Romney really is.

It always amazes me just how ignorant some people are about Romney, and it's particularly annoying when the right wing media buys the leftist talking points about Romney.

Thanks, Pablo.

Some pundits are annoyed by Romney's occasional stuttering. It's not because he is unsure of himself. He is simply trying make sure his statement conforms to the data streaming through his brain. In contrast, Newt has an opinion posted on his forehead, and facts be damned he's going to voice it.

Wow, Frum nailed it!

I have noticed that too. And also, think that it comes off to the causal observer as indecisive or dishonest, when it is a tendency to be very exact and a displeasure with leaving life's conumdrums unspoken. Even though we all know you simply cannot be completely exact almost ever.

Yes! Mitt loves to explain nuance to people and when he has time, like in a town hall meeting, he really shines at this. Every has noted that he debates well, too, but it's definitely harder for him because he doesn't have the time to educate people on the important nuances of each issue. He would really like to, and as president, I think he will use the bully pulpit to explain to the American people exactly how things really work, putting pressure on Congress to be honest as well. I'm excited for it!
