PPP Polling: Paul closing in on Gingrich who's lead in Iowa is, "Slip Slidin' Away"

GOP Nomination: (results from December 5)

Newt Gingrich 22% (27%)
Ron Paul 21% (18%)
Mitt Romney 16% (16%)
Michele Bachmann 11% (13%)
Rick Perry 9% (9%)
Rick Santorum 8% (6%)
Jon Huntsman 5% (4%)
Gary Johnson 1% (1%)
Someone else/Not sure 7% (7%)
PPP surveyed 555 likely Republican caucus voters from December 11th to 13th. The margin of error for the survey is +/-4.2%.

The next best thing to Romney winning in Iowa is Ron Paul winning.

If Gingrich doesn't win, his campaign is over.

Pauls campaign ends there as well.

A paul win in Iowa closes the door for everyone except Romney.

It might even boost Romney's numbers if voters think that poll might actually have a shot at the nomination.
