Mitt Romney picks up three more endorsements

Ann Coulter:
"ONLY ONE CANDIDATE IS RIGHT ON THE TWO MOST IMPORTANT ISSUES"

In the upcoming presidential election, two issues are more important than any others: repealing Obamacare and halting illegal immigration. If we fail at either one, the country will be changed permanently.

Taxes can be raised and lowered. Regulations can be removed (though they rarely are). Attorneys general and Cabinet members can be fired. Laws can be repealed. Even Supreme Court justices eventually die.

But capitulate on illegal immigration, and the entire country will have the electorate of California. There will be no turning back.

Similarly, if Obamacare isn't repealed in the next few years, it never will be.

John Hinderaker: "For President in 2012, Mitt Romney"
It is time for Republicans to get serious. After flirting with just about every candidate in a large presidential field, is is time to come home to the one candidate who has the demonstrated ability to run the largest organization in the United States, the Executive Branch of the federal government; who has never been touched by the slightest taint of scandal; whose success in the private sector makes him the outsider that Republicans say they are looking for; and who has by far the best chance of beating President Obama: Mitt Romney.

Elizabeth Dole:
"America is facing some of the greatest challenges in our nation's history, in particular with regard to our economic future," Dole wrote in a release. "It is vitally important that we nominate an individual with both a steady hand for these difficult times and the experience and capabilities to get our country back on track."

You said 3 more endorsements? Maybe I skipped it, but I only see Coulter's endorsement.

Ashley--

Click on "read more", beneath "read the rest of the endorsement." One is a link to Coulter's post, and the other is a link to the rest of the RightSpeak post.

(I know, I did the same thing.)

I don't think that a Coulter endorsement is anything that anyone should be proud of.

Dan,

I can't stand Coulter. The only benefit I see is that maybe she'll make a few of her supporters question their own echo chamber.

In her endorsement of Mitt Romney, Ann Coulter makes one of the most convincing arguments to date as to why Romney should be the GOP nominee for president.

Of all the GOP presidential candidates, Romney has by far the strongest appeal to the independent voters who determine the outcome of presidential elections.

In his 2002 gubernatorial run, Romney won 80% of the independent vote in Massachusetts.

None of the other GOP presidential candidates have ever come close to achieving that kind of electoral success among independent voters.

If Romney repeats that level of support among independent voters in the 2012 general election, he would trounce Obama by double digits, which would lead to major GOP gains in the House & Senate, with the very real possibility of a filibuster-proof majority in the latter.

Romney is the ONLY GOP candidate who has the potential to defeat Obama by a large enough margin to deliver these crucial down-ticket gains for the Party.

That's great news! I like Ann Coulter, she calls em like she sees em, regardless if it's the popular thing to do at the time. She has certainly stood her ground concerning Mitt with the Fox News Tea Pary panderers and the right wing radio bashers.
