"Mitt is not a progressive. He's me"

Mitt Romney received the coveted Christine O'Donnell endorsement today.

Even more surprising, Mitt sent out a press release to boast about it.
“Christine has been a leader in the conservative movement for many years,” Romney said. “Christine recognizes that excessive government threatens us now and threatens future generations, and I am pleased to have her on my team.”

Good for Odonnell, Im sure mitt is happy to have her support although minimal and a check to romney for president doesnt hurt.

RW, you are just wetting your panties all over trying to get this out, good for you. We hope you will be the first to post up a palin endorsement of mitt.

Why is it surprising that he would "boast" about it? Tea Partiers by the millions were scrambling to support Christine O'Donnell's Senate bid. Almost as much as Marco Rubio's run against Charlie Crist, it symbolized the Anti-Establishment vs. Establishment "fight" that is supposedly at the heart of Romney's problem attracting voters. This endorsement gives him more credibility, especially the way in which she presents it. I hope she runs for Senate again. Having President Romney at her side would certainly give her a much-needed advantage the next time around.

This too funny even for RWN = Right "Windsock" Nut.

Back when Palin was running around trying to become the Tea Party leader and backing O'Donnell, you couldn;t find a bigger supporter than this political Gumby.

When Romney sent her a big check the day after she beat Castle, RWN couldn't shut his pie hole about what a big phoney Mitt was for trying to horn in on the TP.

Now that she is backing Romney, RWN trashes his integrity, by mocking her.

I guess he's as fickle as his idol Palin, who blew off her friend and threw an embarassing temper tantrum this summer, when she might have had to share a stage with her at a TP rally.

With friends like that.....

BTW - I still think it was a mistake to primary Castle (O'Donnell was not a stellar candidate) and give up that seat, But all are welcome to Team Romney.

This is actually a good endorsement for Mr. Romney. It gives him Street creds.

OJ,

Not really. She's a laughingstock.

Political Gumby, I love it. You've got a new nick name RW, err, Gumby.

Dan,

That's rich coming from you. If I had the time, or even cared that much, I could probably dig up some of your smears of COD. Now, your as quiet as a freaking mouse.

"Now, your as quiet as a freaking mouse." Yes the shoe is on the other foot now.

COD not my fav pol in town. But all are welcome onto the Romney bandwagon. Even your queen, RWN. Although she is leaning to loser Gingrich.

Gumby and Pokey, I still can't stand O'Donnell. And I never said anything that wasn't true about her. Knock yourselves out looking for old things I said about her, I'll still stand by them. And I am still disgusted that Mitt endorsed her in the general. This endorsement hurts Romney, in my opinion. I only commented earlier on this thread to laugh at Gumby. I didn't want to waste the time rehashing this crap. You two can waste all the hours of your lives that you want to fighting old battles, some of us move on.

Gumby and pokey?....No Rw and OJ are more like Batman and Robin, Oj is always around to kiss/defend RW's ridiculousness.

Notice how the Romneyites want to hide behind Anonymous. Kinda desperate.

For the record, I do not have time to dig up you bitter comments. If you and guys like MWS want to be party hacks, have at it.

Who's hiding? Certainly not me.

And by the way? Anyone who actually paid attention to O'Donnell's Senate campaign would see that she did a far better job at it than most gave her credit for. Aside from the "I'm not a witch" video, she released some very strong campaign ads. She mounted a serious challenge with virtually no "establishment" backing, unless you count Romney as establishment (which I never have). Mike Castle might have won if he'd been nominated, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with Romney's endorsement of O'Donnell once she'd won the nomination; and her endorsement of him, while it may not ultimately help that much, certainly won't hurt him at all.

The funny thing will be to see Rush Limbaugh;s reaction to this..he loved Christine and hates Mitt..whatever shall he do?

Ohio Joe..I am not anonymous and I think the funny thing is that all those true conservatives out there shilled for this woman and now she is endorsing Mitt Romney..My guess is she thinks he is going to win.
