Rasmussen Poll: Obama beating Gingrich by 6 Points

Head-To-Head:

Barack Obama 44%
Newt Gingrich 38% (-6)
 A survey of 1,000 likely voters was conducted November 3-4, 2011. The MOE is +/-3%.

Barack Obama 45%
Rick Perry 38% (-7)

From October 31:

Barack Obama 44%
Ron Paul 35% (-9)

From November 1:

Barack Obama 43%

Barack Obama 42%
Mitt Romney 41% (-1)

Newt is within the margin of error of being tied, and holds the incumbant at 44%. If the election were today, Obummer would probably lose.

It's hard to compare the numbers of the various candidates, since the polls were all conducted on separate days, and with different batches of respondents.

Nonetheless, the numbers show that Obummer is in trouble. Unfortunately, he has a year to turn his numbers around.

Turnout will be KEY.
