On Saturday, November 12, at 8 p.m. ET, CBS News and National Journal will present the first Republican presidential primary debate on broadcast television. It will take place at Wofford College in Spartanburg, S.C., and will be moderated by CBS Evening News anchor and managing editor Scott Pelley and National Journal congressional correspondent Major Garrett. The debate will focus primarily on national security and foreign policy.

so this debate will focus on national security and foreign policy? why do I get the feeling that every question directed at herman cain will end up with a 999 answer?

I read that the first hour was on TV and the last part would be streamed on the CBS website.

It doesn't make any sense.

Is it just me or do you agree that CBS has no business in broadcasting the debates if they won't broadcast the complete debate. My husband and I were watching on TV and then they switched to NCIS for the remainder of the debate. Unbelievable. I transitioned to a computer and received a chopped up version of the remainder of the debate. I now know why I do not watch CBS news.
