I watched this thing. It was kind of boring. I thought CNN went out of their way to give Paul and Gingrich more time.
In truth I think the media is hoping the GOP nominates one of these jokers because of all the fun they will have destroying him in the general.
But right now, they don't want to get in the way of all those true conservatives out there picking a loser...anything they can do to hurt Romney and help the loons they will.
When Perry was surging, he was placed right next to Mitt in the debates. The same with Cain. I was surprised that Newt wasn't placed next to Mitt, now that he's surging. But then, I realized that Newt would look short and doughy next to Mitt. There is no way they would be placed side by side.
Just like the last two debates, Mitt has been getting less air time. I guess it was figured it was better to ignore Mitt. If Mitt gets all the hard questions like in previous debates, he handles it very well and shines. So, it is better to take the spotlight off him and place it on someone like Huntsman. Huntsman is desperate to take New Hampshire, which is Mitt's stronghold and initial path to the nomination.

Agree, Terrye!
I would be GREAT to see a chart of time candidates got last night.

Agree Anon. It looked deliberate on CNN's part.
I'd also like to see WHO started answering the most questions. I'LL BET Newt began 40% of the questions first.
CNN didn't like Romney's ad in NH and decided they would slap his rists by ignoring him.
They spent more time in the pre-debate talking about the ad, than they gave him in the debate to answer questions.
