Liberal Mitt's Greatest Hits: What Romney Doesn't Want You to See (Video)

I've come to grips with the fact that Romney will probably win the nomination by default. However, the following video gives numerous reasons why he shouldn't. Obama will have a field day with Romney's flip-flops on health care, abortion, TARP, Obama's stimulus program, etc. I hate to say it, but it's looking more and more like we'll get another four years of Hopenchange.

Enjoy...

RW,

Disappointed you would sink to this level of immaturity in a post-Palin world.

This vid was posted several days ago and is a compilation of very old clips.

Childish nonsense.

The fact you think Romney can not beat Obama shows a real lack of political insight on your part.

Perhaps the wound of Sarah' disappointing is still too fresh for you to think clearly and you need to play Sour Grapes games for awhile.

I hope you recover soon.

Hi Doug!

I hope RW recovers soon, too. It's all the harder when your candidate leads you on for the longest political tease in history.

Anyway, I think that Perry is getting off scott-free with Jeffries. I was VERY HAPPY to see that Romney hit back at Fischer and Jeffries yesterday. Amen!

RW, I hope Sarah comes out and denounces these bigots, and I think she will. Too bad Cain chickened out when asked whether Mormonism is a cult.

Let's see some leadership on this issue once and for all.

RW,

Tc already posted this. Do we really need to see this again?

TC and RW are going through withdrawal.

BTW seems the power that be at Fox were only after ratings when inking Palin to their roster.

Perhaps the sting of realizoing no one really took her seriously is little too much for RW.

What a misleading video to post. The second of the two videos you posted is a smattering of many clips - most of which have been cut off and strategically clipped so you don't get the whole picture. A perfect example is the one where he s talking about time tables. If you were to see the entire clip you would find out that he believes that time lines should never ever be made public but that they should be internal goals for the military and administration to work towards. What a disgusting and misleading video to post.

"What a disgusting and misleading video to post." But it is OK when you guys do it???? Your double standards are not fooling us Anonymous. RW, congratulations for holding the Romneyites feet to the fire. Our votes are not for sale. Mr. Romney will have to earn our votes.

Anon 7:57, that was totally unnecessary. Why don't you knock it off!

Anonymous, you are just bitter and jealous that we are not kissing King Romney Ass. Your bitterness is not winning your camp leader support in the general election. Now that Mrs. Palin is out, you guy would be smart to actually promote Mr. Romney instead of taking cheap shot at Mrs. Palin. However, as time goes on, you guys are proving to be not as smart as you once let us. Again, it you are serious about party unity, extend the olive branch and move a little to the Right. Otherwise, we will not take you any more seriously and Mr. Obama. The ball in now in your court, we are watching to see if you play it properly.

I hit publish before I saw your comment Noelle. Even though I do not agree with you on everything Noelle, I for one would feel more comfortable with more people like you in your camp.

Ohio Joe: "But it is OK when you guys do it?"

It's not OK when anyone does it. And just because it happens on both sides does not justify any individual incident of this type of dishonesty. We all need to do a better job to come together. No one person bares unilateral responsibility for this.

Yes, Romney has changed some positions. Either you can live with that or you can't. It happened and that's a fact that won't change. I believe he's sincere. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe you're wrong.

I don't really care about this video being posted, but I agree that it's not a fair assessment. It includes some shady clipping of statements. I also don't think 17-year-old policy positions matter a great deal--especially considering Romney's hundreds of public admissions to being wrong and having changed on that issue.

But some people don't want to rationally debate. Some people just want to find more reasons to hate an adversary. That's a personal choice.

Slick Willy,

Much of what's in the video is from the past few years.

Quite frankly this flip flop label is unfairly overused and used only towards romney. Its also getting old and boring and annoying. I dont think it hurts romney at all when people keep bringing it up, who on this earth since romneys campaign from 08 to even now doesnt know yet romney has changed his mind on past issues? so its not new information when people keep throwing the flip flop label around and doesnt hurt a fly.

Sheesh, the same crap over and over again.

perry (tried) pointed out mitt romney flip flops in the last debate and romney regains his position as the frontrunner as a result.

The funniest thing about Mitt's epiphanies is that most of then just happened to coincide with decision to run for President back in 2006. A real and genuine guy he is!

Because I know the history of romney/care and I know that he changed his position on abortion, like millions of other people, and because I am a political junkie I have seen the complete interviews,so I can see where some statements were taken out of context, so therefore I am not upset. If every Ronald Reagan clip was presented in this format we would be calling Ronnie a flip flopper.
The HUGE FACT that keeps getting lost is that Mitt had to govern the most liberal state in the country verses Perry who had to govern the most conservative state in the country. Mitt vetoed tuition breaks for illegals t but Perry signed off on them. Perry doubled the size of government in Texas and Romney merged departments. Romney came into office with a 3 billion deficit and left with a 2 billion rainy day fund. I have no doubt that Romney's natural tendencies from his private sector experience is to cut the waste to improve efficiencies and reduce costs. Romney is the person we need in office at this time.

RW: "Much of what's in the video is from the past few years."

Yes, it's a pretty even split between 15+ years ago and more recent footage. However, the bulk of the newer video is nothing but snippets that dishonestly cut off Mitt's explanations and piece together false positions that are irrelevant.

There are two legitimate recent issues in the video: Mitt has not backed far off of Romneycare--some people really hate that. Also, he absolutely supported tarp. But that's it. No other claim in this video has any fairness in it at all.

If that's the kind of publication you're comfortable with, I'm sorry for you. You're not changing minds, you're just corrupting your own character.

@slick Willy,

The Heritage foundation in 2007 cited Romney/Care as a fine piece of conservative piece of legislation.Newt on the attached link references that the liberal legislature modified Romneycare and over rode Romney's vetoes in order to add costly amendments to Romneycare.
Newt also stated that the original Romney bill was good.
The purpose of Romneycare was to mandate the 8% of the uninsured to buy private insurance so the taxpayers would not have to pick up the tab. There is a federal law that forces all hospitals to pick up the tab for the uninsured, so Romneycare was originally designed to address this issue. I really wish political reporters would do a few google searches and report the real story behind ROmneycare. Obamacare is nothing like ROmney/care. I think it is important for ROmney supporters to get the truth out regarding the history of this bill. it is not right that ROmney gets the blame for this mess that the liberals created in MA>

Below is a link to the transcript of the actual Romney Cavuto interview. This should show people how low Romney detractors will go to make up lies about the guy.

@right wingnut-
Do you work for the Obama campaign or do you work for Perry?

I ask this because all you had to do was to do a few google searches and you would see the deceptions in several of the videos. If more people would really research Romney/Care and how the bill was passed they would easily see that it in no way was intended by ROmney to be obamacare.

I am really getting fed up with people posting propaganda and just rubber stamping it as the truth.

I found your post to be irresponsible because you didn't even bother to check to see if it was truth or propaganda. You do know how to use google?

You then imply that I guess it is 4 more years of Obama, like the videos were accurate. This will be the most important election of our time and people like you need to make an attempt to vet the garbage you post, if you truly are sincere in your desire of voting Obama out of office.

Craig for losers over at race recently posted a total lie (He later said he read it wrong) and after being called out on it and admitting the mistake, he still said, and i paraphrase, anyone with a brain knows it is true (the general idea that is). Of course what he was saying was something negative about Romney.

RWingnut is the same way. "maybe what I'm saying isn't exactly accurate but the anyone with a brain knows what I'm saying is right..." Kinda reminds me of the CBS reports about Bush that were total lies and the left still defended it because maybe the facts weren't right but the story is the right one...
