Barack Obama is losing the economic argument to Mitt Romney, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released Thursday, finding voters trust the former Massachusetts governor more on the central issue of the 2012 campaign.Perry loses to Obama (43/41) same with Bachmann (48/37).
The margin is close: Forty-six percent of voters say they believe Romney “would do a better job on the economy,” while 42 percent choose Obama. Among independent voters, Romney leads by 12 points, 49 percent to 37 percent.
