I watched romney's part, excellent! He's by far the smartest and best debater of all currently running. Now I know why chicken Perry ducked the forum, he heard he was going to have to give long unscripted answers for 20 minutes.I couldnt see Perry give such great answers in depth with substance like Romney did here.

If Mitt Romney is elected POTUS, he will be the smartest POTUS since JFK (maybe even farther back than that). Reagan was wise, but not as smart as Romney (imho).

In any case, to answer Bosman's question from the other day, "Who should draw first blood, Perry or Romney?" I would answer, "It doesn't matter, Perry won't show up."

These are my thoughts:
1st place: Mitt Romney. He did Great!! Well versed in every subject. Very impressive when talking about the Financial sector and economy.
2nd Place: Newt Gingrich, very thought provoking.
3rd Place: Herman Cain
2nd to Last Place: Michelle Bachman, she wasn't really answering the questions and very general.
Last place: Rick Perry. No show.

Romney really is by far the brightest of the bunch.

I really feel confident about America's future when I hear him talk.

I agree with you all. I thought Romney was the only one that gave answers that reflected deep thought & consideration. The others seem to just give answers that they thought the audience wanted to hear. It was like watching a chess match when one person is moving based on the look of the board & the other is making a decision based on considering the impact of 3 moves in the future.

Romney seems to gain more confidence after every outing.

I know this will bother some people but I feel similar about Romney as I did about Reagan. There is something very similar to how they both carry themselves.
