Mike Huckabee to Interview Mitt Romney on his Show

Mitt Romney will sit down with his former Republican opponent Mike Huckabee on this Saturday's Huckabee Show.

Mitt Romney is scheduled to sit down for an interview with a 2008 rival for the Republican presidential nomination, Mike Huckabee, this weekend, The Caucus has learned.

As of late, Mike Huckabee has spoken kindly of his former rival, so this upcoming appearance by Romney on "Huckabee" should be in friendly territory.

Will there be an October surprise?

Tune in Saturday October 1st at 8 pm ET to find out.

I am pretty amazed that Huck is going to bring Romney on and interview him on his show. Huck should ask some searching questions, but I would really like to see the two of them "kiss and make up" for the past. Okay, they can skip the kissing part, LOL!! That would be October surprise enough for me.

Huck played the Mormon card pretty ruthlessly in '08, to the point where I was VERY concerned about him being placed in the President or Vice President position. Anyone who can go out and bash someone else's religion while the SITTING GOVERNOR OF A STATE IN THIS GREAT UNION, does not understand the nature of freedom of religion as he ought. I sincerely hope that Huck has "wised up" since then. While I don't expect him to change his mind about my Church, I do expect him to behave more appropriately towards us in public. Perhaps Huck will even use his personal influence to encourage others to do the same. THAT is my idea of a real October surprise!

Wouldn't it be ironic that after all there bad feelings, if Huckabee eventually endorses Romney?

I have my doubts that an endorsement will happen, but if it did, that would pretty much spin the heads of Huckabee's fans. I think most of them are anti-Mitt.

Should be an interesting interview!
