I'm 110% positive that Straight talking Chris Christie is not going to run for President in 2012. Know Why? Because if he does, he'd look like a horse's ass.

How many different ways does the man have to say he's not running?

There was this way.....

Christie has repeatedly self admitted that he is not qualified / not ready to be President.

I admire him for admitting so.

At least it shows he is smart enough to know that he is not ready / not qualified for the job... to which he simply is not. (There is nothing in the world wrong in admitting that... that is far better than someone like Palin or Bachman... Which neither is qualified) running and people not voting for them because they aren't qualified. Palin and Bachman both have severe image / electability problems... in part caused by them not being qualified and either saying they are thinking about running(Palin) or in Bachman's case actually running. Bachman not being qualified is one of the major reasons her campaign is imploding. Palin / Bachman also have other image / electability problems... namely the public at large find both to be gaffe prone and a reputation of being not very bright.(and that is putting it mildly.)

Unlike Palin / Bachman... others... not running may well be best thing Christie can do if he wants to be President at some point in the future.

I agree. Christie would immediately become king of the flip floppers.

Imagine the ads the Dems could make from all his I'm not running, don't feel I'm qualified. have lots of work to do in NJ, do I have to commit suicide so you'll believe I'm not running, and so on

Thanks for that article and the clips!

I would have to wonder WHOSE puppet would he be if getting in this late??? Sudden $$$, sudden organization......is not the solid, firm, organized, coherent candidate we need to win the WH!!

From what I read the people who are courting Christie after Perry's disastrous debate performance are Murdoch and the Koch brothers. I read one or two articles this weekend about this. Bill Kristol and Ann Coulter are Christie's cheerleaders big time.

I don't understand why because if you look at Christie on paper, Romney is much more conservative. Nothing makes sense anymore. It seems to me that the Republican establishment is really sticking it to Romney for his Romneycare.

I personally think Romney should run as the anti-establishment candidate.......since the establishment seems to be promoting illegal immigration with candidates like McCain,Bush and now Perry. Just my opinion.

It's obvious these hypocrites are against Romney because he's a Mormon.

There can be no other logical reason

"It's obvious these hypocrites are against Romney because he's a Mormon." So you are saying that one has to favor HC mandates among other things to become a member of the Mormon Church????

Wow! OJ, I can normally follow your logic, but this leap is crazy convoluted. I don't get it.

But aside from that, I find it interesting that in the 2nd video on the left, Christie mentions he likes TPaw and Romney. Romney having campaigned for him and Christie has had close dealings with both of them. He only states that Perry is a viable candidate.

As it stands today, I imagine Christie endorsing Romney. When he announces this, if at all, will be interesting.
