Sarah Palin: Lame Duck President

Via Facebook:
After listening to the President’s press conference today, let’s keep in mind the following:

This is the same president who proposed an absurdly irresponsible budget that would increase our debt by trillions of dollars, and whose party failed to even put forward a budget in over 800 days! This is the same president who is pushing our country to the brink because of his reckless spending on things like the nearly trillion dollar “stimulus” boondoggle. This is the same president who ignored his own debt commission’s recommendations and demonized the voices of fiscal sanity who proposed responsible plans to reform our entitlement programs and rein in our dangerous debt trajectory. This is the same president who wanted to push through an increase in the debt ceiling that didn’t include any cuts in government spending! This is the same president who wants to slam Americans with tax hikes to cover his reckless spending, but has threatened to veto a bill proposing a balanced budget amendment. This is the same president who hasn’t put forward a responsible plan himself, but has rejected reasonable proposals that would tackle our debt. This is the same president who still refuses to understand that the American electorate rejected his big government agenda last November. As I said in Madison, Wisconsin, at the Tax Day Tea Party rally, “We don’t want it. We can’t afford it. And we are unwilling to pay for it.”

Now the President is outraged because the GOP House leadership called his bluff and ended discussions with him because they deemed him an obstruction to any real solution to the debt crisis.

He has been deemed a lame duck president. And he is angry now because he is being treated as such.

His foreign policy strategy has been described as “leading from behind.” Well, that’s his domestic policy strategy as well. Why should he be surprised that he’s been left behind in the negotiations when he’s been leading from behind on this debt crisis?

Thank you, GOP House leaders. Please don’t get wobbly on us now.

2012 can’t come soon enough.

- Sarah Palin.

blah blah, so if you think you got the solution, stop all the hoopla and get in and declare yourself a candidate and put your plan out.

Looks like Sarah and RAM kissed and made up. Personally, I prefer Sarah's word salads.

The definition of a political lame duck: A lame duck is an elected official who is approaching the end of his or her tenure, and especially an official whose successor has already been elected. Obama has a approx 1-1/2 yrs left in this term, and no one knows who or if there will be a successor, we do know that it won't be the woman who thought that she was running for president in 2008.

Wow, by that definition she was not really a "lame duck" at all. She was in office and there was no successor elected. By all accounts, she probably would have been re-elected. Lol....she proclaimed herself lame without really knowing she wasn't. She latched onto the term for an excuse to quit, but she was never a lame duck governor. It was just one of her lies.

i think this is about palin calling obama a lame duck pres.

LOLOL. pot, meet kettle. Mrs. Palin, YOU QUIT. So... lame duck vs quitter. Humm some math is in order here.

None of the above!

You obviously hit a raw nerve RW, the pairless Ellieites have jumped the sharks again. Mrs. Palin showed leadership by supporting Mr. Walker even before it was cool.

Right Wingnut said...

OJ,

All the credit goes to Gov. Palin on that one. She definitely hit the nerves of the Obama apologists. Why else would you have ANY problem at all with what she wrote.

BTW, Let's bury the hatchet on our feud over Bachmann. I apologize for some of the things I said yesterday.

Sarah is a bitter gossiper perpetuating LIES and pointing fingers while she sits back and does NOTHING.
She’s nothing more than a whiny back seat driver.I wish the person in the front seat would turn around and tell her to either get out and drive her own car or sit down and shut her pie hole.

OJ, Ellieite? I love it...that deserves a big...wait for it...

BINGO!!!!

Soooo, all you anonymous holes who are piling on Sarah in these comments didn't have one bad thing to say about Obama. You are bottom feeders.

@ Dan...this discussion is not about Obama or any other legitimate politician, it's about a big mouthed con artist who doesn't have the cajones to step up to the plate. None of the legitimate contenders spew hate every time they open their mouths.

The whole post is about how President Obama has turned himself into a lame duck President and now he is mad that he is treated as such. It's a good commentary but the Palin detractors are so intellectually dishonest that they can no longer tell the truth from their own lies.

Good for Palin!

If for no other reason than she's a thorn in Obama's side every time she opens her mouth. She always manages to get a rise out of the Dems and the liberal media.

Are you kidding, RW. You removed my comment because I said I agreed that Palin is a con artist. Ha ha.

I don't think Palin has ever been a thorn in Obama's side. I think they love her.

Martha,

I DID NOT delete your comment...or anyone else's for that matter.

RW, Okay. Apparently it disappeared somehow. Thanks.

RW, My last comment looks sarcastic, but it wasn't. My sincere apologies for accusing you of deleting me.

I don't think President Obama gives a crap about what the quitter says. He knows her intellect is as deep as spit.

Right Wingnut said...

Martha,

I prefer to let you and your friends expose your irrational hatred of private citizen Palin.

Some day, it may come back to bite you.

Right Wingnut said...

This Facebook post could be very easily converted into a stump speech.

Anonymous said...

@RWN...yes it could. It's atypical Sarah speech, no solutions, just hate spewing RAM words.

That is funny coming from dd.

Dumb Ditz,

Where's the hate in this post?

Give me just ONE example, you freaking loon.

Ohio JOE said...

Haha, in their twisted world, the fact that you love somebody from Alaska makes you a hater.

RW, my distaste for Sarah Palin is very rational. It's based on everything she does and says.

She is a fraud, and the sooner everyone knows the better. I hope she runs.

-Martha

Ohio JOE said...

"She is a fraud," Coming from a Romneyite, that is hilarious.

Right Wingnut said...

BINGO!

Yes, that is rich, isn't it.

Anonymous said...

OJ and RW, I know that you don't like Romney, but I have to point out that everything Romney has accomplished is certainly not a FRAUD. The man did graduate from BYU in English and from Harvard Law and Business schools with various levels of honors. He did work at Boston Consulting and Bain. Then he worked for Bain Capital, then back for Bain. He did work as CEO of the 2002 Winter Olympics in Utah, and was Governor of Massachusetts for four years.

Whatever you think of the guy's tactics, he has definitely done things. He isn't a fraud.

Now, our current President.... Two autobiographies but not a lot of work experience (if any) in the private sector. A whole lot of "present" votes in Illinois and no legislation in the Senate. When you need pillars and voice reverberation to excite people about you, maybe it's because you don't have anything else to offer! I would vote for the former man's record any time over the latter. God bless the USA!

nice AZ, stuff that palin wouldnt have been able to do

Ohio JOE said...

AZ, you moss the whole point, it is not that we do not like Mr. Romney, it is that we do not like what he did in NY-23, with TARP, with Health Care, his lack of leadership on spending cuts and so forth. He may be a good person and a good businessman, but be President is serious business.

Anonymous said...

OJ, the implication made by one of you on the thread was that Romney is a "fraud." I am merely pointing out that he is not a fraud. I understand that you don't like many of the political things he has done. Of course, politics is a pretty ambiguous place. Those of us with black and white consciences really struggle when dealing with politics.

However, what we need for President in 2012 is a problem solver, and I believe Romney is that guy. I have been watching him since he saved the 2002 Olympics, and I like his approach to problems, and his ability to make hard decisions.

AZ,

I'm guessing OJ wouldn't have said what he said if Martha had not chimed in. I'm surprised you're ignoring that.
