Rudy meets Ricky over Breakfast

Rudy Giuliani had a busy schedule yesterday. In the morning, he met over breakfast with Texas Governor Rick Perry. Both Perry and Giuliani have been talking about possible runs in 2012.

Rudy met later that day with Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey over lunch.I think he may have left a little disappointed.

Christie told CNN Tuesday that he is "100 percent certain I'm not going to run."

And given Christie’s growing popularity nationwide, Republicans who are running for president seek his endorsement. But he’s not ready to give anyone the nod yet. (emphasis mine)

Now Perry and Giuliani, are old friends. Do you think there could be a Ricky & Rudy coalition in the works? Maybe both jump in as a team and try to steal the election?

I don't think their a threat seperate or togather. Both have the baggage problem.

Lots of baggage.

I have to admit I fell for the idea that Perry could be competitive--at least for about 24 hours. It didn't take long to realize that Perry is just another in a long list now of over-hyped possibilities.

Rudy, Perry and Huntsman are not going to make the cut.

When Christie endorses anyone, it will be Romney.

Both or either of these two will go nowhere if they get in.
