Rick Perry for President of.............

If Rick Perry decides to run for President of the United States in 2012 and doesn't win the GOP nomination, ALL IS NOT LOST. He could just secede from the Union and Run for President of the Republic of Texas.

So if he decides to seek the GOP nomination and doesn't like the outcome,
IT'S NICE TO HAVE AN OPTION, Huh?

Bosman, I'm sorry. I've gone a bit overboard on Perry today. I'm a little concerned that his candidacy would be a Huck re-run religiously speaking, and that Sarah will give her stamp of approval.

Of course, the country is generally not in the mood for that, but I do think Perry hopes to tap into some tea party anger, and the desire of the religious right to get their 'one of us' candidate.

I guess he thinks that will cover enough bases to hand him the nomination.

I'm sure the NATIONAL day of fasting and prayer is Perry's way of blunting his secessionist past. Ha ha!

I think it's sort of interesting that both Perry and Palin have flirted with secession, and she is now talking him up. Hmmm. She said they have a lot in common.

Perry is a nut job.

I can see why Palin finds him appealing.

You should probably edit your post, Bosman. It is "secede" not "succeed". Perry is a loon.

Perry really does seem to be a little out there.

I think the contrast between he and Romney. would benefit Romney.

I get the feeling Perry is somewhat of a lightweight on policy, and brains.
