Last month, in the midst of a flurry of scrutiny of GOP presidential candidates’ stances on health insurance mandates similar to one included in the 2010 Democratic healthcare overhaul, Limbaugh took to the airwaves to defend Heritage’s past support for such a proposal.
“The Heritage Foundation to this day says they are being impugned and misrepresented in terms of their advocacy for such a thing,” Limbaugh said, explaining that the venerable think tank “abandoned the idea once they saw it implemented” and realized “it doesn’t work.”
Limbaugh, who has been a paid Heritage endorser since 2009, said the reversal did nothing to detract from the “profound … respect for Heritage. Heritage is the gold standard. Heritage was every bit as involved in Reaganism as Reagan was, and nothing’s changed.”

How To Not Be A RINO: Pay Rush Limbaugh
Politico has a story out about how large, conservative, non-profit organizations are paying talk radio hosts for positive spin. Supposedly, this is shocking. I have been saying for a long time that Rush and Co. couldn't give a rat's rear end about the conservative movement. This is all business, and if you pay enough, Rush can make you a conservative. My favorite part is Rush's defense of the Heritage Foundation's individual mandate. It is a lesson in how to buy remittances to keep your own hide out of RINO purgatory. If Romney were as unscrupulous as these guys, he could use his money more effectively.

Have you ever heard of the 1st Amendment? Why don't you try reading the Constitution before you write another idiotic article. The last time I checked, companies have the right to advertise wherever they want. Do you even think or research before you post? (other than left leaning websites with an agenda). I bet you never even listened to Limbaugh or any of the other hosts you rant on and on about. Do you think that if Limbaugh (and his racist "knuckle-dragging listeners" you don't look down on), Fox News, the rest of talk radio and the Tea Party are not around that Romney and the GOP will get a fair shake in the mainstream media? Do you really think that?
Please repeat after me: Pablo is a clueless putz. He only cares about purging the GOP of anyone who has a different opinion than him.
Excellent Post Pablo.
The Heritage Foundation WAS RIGHT THERE when Romney was drawing up Romneycare. They decided to distance themselves from it when the Tea Party folks thought it was a bad idea to GO AFTER DEADBEATS who would rather have you and I pay for there health care costs than pay it themselves.
Limbaugh IS A HYPOCRITE on this and I guess HYPOCRITES ATTRACT HYPOCRITES and perhaps that's why he's in bed with the Heritage Foundation now.
ANON, as to not embarrass you by revealing your identity, Why not sign in and MAKE AN ASS OF YOURSELF rather than doing it the chicken shit way?
Bosman,
Not trying to be anon...I simply forgot to sign my name. I am so sorry...Please forgive me o' brave, noble and wise Bosman. I just wish you were half as hard on all the anon Trig Truthers and others who attack certain people on a daily basis.
A.J.R.
BTW...who are you calling a chicken shit? I always sign my name and take my abuse around here. If I don't sign it..it is because I forget. I am way more BRAVE than the anon cowards around here and you know it.
A.J.R.
"I am way more BRAVE than the anon cowards around here and you know it." Yes AJR, that is correct!
AJR,
I simply wanted to keep you on the straight and narrow and am glad your non-signing in was a mistake. I'm sorry I jumped the gun on you. I should hold off on insults untill second comments.
As to me not being hard on the truthers, that's not true. I have NO IDEA who those folks are. I can only tell you they were not Martha and Ellie. They only appear when the topic is Palin.
I agree with Pablo on this.
What's good for the goose, is good for the gander.
Either Romney and the Heritage foundation were BOTH RIGHT, or they were BOTH WRONG.
Any other way, and these pundits like Rushbo, lose credibility.
"Either Romney and the Heritage foundation were BOTH RIGHT, or they were BOTH WRONG." They are both wrong on this issue, but that does not mean that they cannot be correct on other issues.
