PPP Polling: It's The Economy Stupid

“Obama hasn’t received that much of a boost from the killing of Osama bin Laden and the improvement he has seen doesn’t seem likely to last long,” said Dean Debnam, President of Public Policy Polling. “That’s because the economy and gas prices in particular are so much more important to voters right now than national security.”

Several people have asked how Romney will weather the criticism of Romneycare, either 2004 or 2012. The answer is that the conversation will not center on healthcare, but on the economy. (BTW, if it doesn't center on the economy, NO republican nominee can beat Obama.)

How big a problem is MassCare for Mitt? For the 10% of the population that are against it who are also part of the 10% of the population that think Health Care is the number one issue.
