President Obama: I Was Born in Hawaii and I Don’t 'Have Horns'

I thought the president would take a pass when I asked him about Donald Trump’s rise to the top of the Republican field in my exclusive interview today.
Far from it.
He grabbed at the chance with a big smile – saying he thinks the whole issue will be a problem for Republicans.
The full story is HERE.

The 'where was Obama born' stuff is what makes Demo's think they are going to win. And they are right. Mitt Romney is right that this issue will take our party down, and lose in 12.

Of course it helps Obama, because it makes Republicans look like racist, conspiratorial nutjobs.

I wish the incredibly naive Birthers would remember that when they ask, "Why won't he show it??????"

He won't show it because as long as you Birther fools are making idiots out of all of us, this is a winning issue for him. Trump doesn't care, because he's in it for the publicity.

You are missing the whole point MWS, this issue is not Pro versus Anti-Birthism per se. The reason Mr. Trump is rising in the polls is because, he is one of the few Republicans to take on Mr. Obama on any issue. If the GOP swell took have promoted Conservatism in the first place and if the anti-Birthers within the party would keep quiet instead of drawing attention, this issue would not be big at all, but the swells have boxed themselves in a corner at you are doing nothing to solve the problem.

If we lose in 2012, it will be the result of the BIRTHERS turning Independents off.
