Mike Huckabee picks an unnecessary fight with Glenn… loses badly

Earlier this week, Glenn said that he was not excited about the possibility of a Mike Huckabee presidency and said that he felt that politically, Huckabee was a progressive. Mike Huckabee did not take kindly to the comments, and responded to Glenn on Huckabee’s website. Glenn addressed those comments on radio this morning, and explained why he said what he said:

The full story is here.

This is exactly what I was trying to tell blind old TexasConservative when he posted on Huckabee's response. How foolish it was for him to pick a fight with Glenn!

I'm not a fan of either but in this case I'd have to say that Beck got the best of Huckabee.

This is just delicious stuff.
Might as well keep cashing those FOX checks, Huck!

When I think about the image of who I want as President, meeting with foreign dignitaries and heads of state, giving the state of the union address, etc., I certainly don't imagine someone who might be holding a petty grudge and who is so easily offended.

Then again, I also can't picture Donald Trump speaking to the nation in our living rooms and taking him seriously.

The clip of Huck trying to twist Beck's words to make it look like he was calling him a Nazi and comparing him to a "fatal disease" is the most disturbing. Huck doesn't have a problem distorting the truth to malign his enemies.

mike schmuckabee, thats what you get for being so petty. Did you really think you can twist the Becksters words like you did and not expect him to come back at you? Beck never said Huckabee was a nazi, but thin skinned as huck is had to get back at beck. He wishes now he would have kept his mouth shut. The facts Beck bring up are true, Huckabee was a tax raising liberal with a soft record on immigration and crime. He wants people to believe because he's a paster, he can do no wrong. Huckabee is dangerous, he honoreth with his lips, but his heart is far from it. A dangerous back stabbing christian.

This reminds me of the 2008 race. As is now clear, Huck is very easily offended. Back in 2008, he was equally offended by Mitt's ads that pointed out that Huck was not as conservative as Huck was trying to portray. Not having the benefit of more insight into Huck's character, people went along with the suggestion that Mitt's ads were somehow personal attack ads.
