In Business: Mitt Romney vs. Donald Trump

Business Experts: Bet the bank on Mitt Romney and not Trump a high-rolling gambler. Former venture capital maven Mitt Romney soundly trumps The Donald as a businessman in the opinion of many experts — who laud the former Bay State governor for his analytical chops while slamming the New York real estate tycoon as a high-rolling gambler.
“The Donald is always swinging for the fences while Mitt will look to get on base,” said Northeastern University’s finance professor Harlan D. Platt, who has tracked Donald Trump’s career. “The problem with being a home-run hitter is you get a lot of strikeouts.”

nice post. How anyone can take trump seriously is beyond me. I guess if it came down to a Trump vs Obama, Id vote for Trump. But thats not gonna happen.

Trump pretty much endorsed romney for "small businesses" when he called him a small business guy, I still cant believe he would say that about romney and know it was a compliment. Then to go on and try to say romney didnt create jobs and companies, while he himself created "thousands and thousands of jobs. His net worth is many, many, many times mitt romney, and if he runs for president we will see just how big and powerful his company is, lol...can you believe the ego on this guy.

If romney was running Trumps businesses, it would be even bigger and more powerful and successful than how Trump is running. Bottom line, I dont think Trump is running, hes doing it for show.

Trump can even come up with real answers to issues, he will only say that china blah blah blah..and that he would make this country respected again blah blah blah....and his networth blah blah blah......what a joke!

Hes making the birther issue a focus of his presumed candidacy but when gorge stepho from ABC kept pressing him to say what his investigators in hawaii found, he got angry and said none of your business haha.He cant take the heat. Can you imagine in a debate when the other candidates start picking on him, hes gonna cry.

After yesterday's two, very telling interviews, I'd say Trump's 15 minutes are just about over.

I'll take the small business guy (who has been consistently successful) who has class and grace, not to mention successful experience working in government (Romney), over the boorish, obnoxious, arrogant, belligerent, 3x bankrupt (financially) and perpetually bankrupt (morally) egomania (Trump).

If I wanted to hire a businessman, I would not have a problem with either one. However, they are suppose to run for President, not Small Businessman per se.

If I was to consider Business/Private sector experience important in the next President, I wouldn't pick someone with a history of Bankruptcies and CH 11's.
