Bryan Fischer Is A Bigot, Cont'd

Remember Bryan Fischer? He just penned a piece entitled, "Mitt Romney: The Man Who Gave Us Homosexual Marriage." There is a basic reason why Fischer doesn't like Romney. It's because Fischer is a Christianist and Romney is Mormon. But putting aside his religious crusades, he represents yet another example of why sane conservatives must battle talk radio.

"he represents yet another example of why sane conservatives must battle talk radio." Talk about a Straw man. If it were not for you, I would never know who this Mr. Fischer character is. And I am sorry, I still do not know who he is. Haha, where do you find these characters.

OJ,

Bryan Fischer is a talk show host in Iowa and he so influential that Huckabee, Bachmann, and Barbour have all been on his radio program, some of them several times.

But, yeah, your right. It is a straw man.

This will give you a very good idea of who Brian Fischer is and it's not pretty.

Don't expect to see Romney wasting his time on his horrible radio program.

Pablo,

I'm not defending Fischer here, but could you define "Christianist" for me please? Usually when I hear that term, it's coming from militant athiests or the anti-Christian part of the Left.

Let's not forget about Steve Deace, also from Iowa. He preferred to vote for Obama instead of McCain, just because his boy, Huck, lost the nomination.

Pablo, this guy stinks to high heaven, and you have him pegged. I did a little research, and I suggest others do the same if they want to know.

Any GOP candidate who goes on his show has lost my respect--100%. NO GOP candidate can afford to be seen with him, and IMO it reflects very badly on their judgment if they do.

Not only does he lie about Romney and about Mormonism, he has many other extremely misguided and flat out wacky ideas/statements/bombs to throw.

"NO GOP candidate can afford to be seen with him, and IMO it reflects very badly on their judgment if they do." So you agree that no GOP candidate should ever go on CBS, CNN or NPR?

OJ, do your homework on this guy, and then we will talk. Like I said, he stinks. He makes the people you mentioned look like saints.

"Like I said, he stinks." Hello, where did I say he smells like a rose?

"He makes the people you mentioned look like saints." Now you have gone over the top.

Pablo, talk about a futile effort...not to mention an insanely stupid one. The left rules every other media outlet, other than talk radio, and you want conservative, talk radio destroyed?

"and you want conservative, talk radio destroyed?" Yes Jersey, according to Pablisimo, it is WAR.

Romney won't be caught dead on the Bryan Fischer show. Or Deace. I'm sure he's not invited anyway! Ha ha.

OJ, there is not one person on the major networks who is as big of a scumbag as Bryan Fischer. Not one. I did a little reading on him and he is filth.

Among other things he claims that Native Americans deserved to be wiped out by white settlers because they wouldn't convert to Christianity. There is no equivalent of this level of depravity on the major news networks.

OhajoJOSIP said...

Well DanL, since you did the homework on this fellow, I will concede that he is a bad fellow indeed. For the record, I did not say otherwise in the first place. He is a truely sick man if he even believes half of that. I welcome Conversion, but I would not dare do it by force (that is what they try do to in my Father's Homeland and I am thankful I live here now.)

At the end of the day, that does not let the others of the hook. Mr. Williams was treated rather badly by NPR and that is only one example.

Dan,

Bill Mauer?

Bryan Fischer may be a scumbag but everybody is missing the point...Pablo scours the internet to find as many, or as few, examples to support his weak thesis of conservative talk radio. He is attempting to use this example to support his thesis that ALL conservative talk radio is evil and ignorant.

I'm just not sure what he is attempting to accomplish? It's futile.

Yes Jersey, my own local radio host (whom I have met) would never talk or think like this Fischer chap.

I would like to see another FPP scour the internet for the hateful message that comes from the leftist media.

I went to great length at ROS to expose many, many terrible things that Beck said. All of you Beck apologists just stuck your fingers in your ears and yelled LALALALALALA. It really wouldn't matter how many articles Pablo wrote, or how many credible sources he quoted. You talk radio lovers would never believe. Rush Limbaugh could be caught with thousands of hours of kiddie porn on his computer and all of his listeners would come up with some crazy conspiracy theory that they had been uploaded via virus by Bill Maher or some other lefty.

Here's another. Bill "a vote for a mormon is a vote for satan" Keller, convicted felon from Florida who is an ordained minister. He has 2 million subscribers. There is a lot of other crap from this guy. I don't have the time to watch all the videos or read all the articles on this low life.

Anonymous said...

Actually Dan, I don't think anybody here has ever said that they love talk radio.

jerseyrepublican

Dan, then you probably shouldn't. If he has that many subscribers then I guess there are a lot of crazy people in this country.

OhajoJOSIP said...

"I went to great length at ROS to expose many, many terrible things that Beck said." Haha, with all due respect, maybe if everybody was not banned, they'd read what you said.

"Rush Limbaugh could be caught with thousands of hours of kiddie porn on his computer and all of his listeners would come up with some crazy conspiracy theory that they had been uploaded via virus by Bill Maher or some other lefty." The point is he was not.

We're becoming the party of the NUTCASES between the birthers and those folks that are to stupid to make up their own minds on issues without relying on the views of bigots like Fischer

This Presidential race should be interesting in light of the fact that the "gay" candidate's intent seems to be exposing and shaming Mormons (including) Romney for their position against Prop 8 in California. I guess he hopes to shame the CJCLDS Church into staying out of moral issues such as marriage. (See Article VI Blog to find my source about this guy).

Since this guy Fischer blames gay marriage on Romney, this gay candidate's attacks on Romney as being anti-gay marriage should make things interesting; although I doubt any of this debate is going to be very intelligent.

By the way, trying to shut down talk radio is the same as regulating the internet; it is a violation of the Constitution's guarantee of free speech, Pablo. However, it is okay to try to persuade people not to listen, so go ahead. I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt that that's what you meant all along when you talk about "shutting down" talk radio.

AZ, I'm wondering how the Karger factor is going to affect anything. It could really blow up if the left takes it and runs. I cringe at the thought of gay marriage being a factor in this election.

The Gays going after Romney can only help him with the socons ans evangelicals.

zeke

Zeke, I agree. But in the general it will be different. Hardly any younger people get too worked up about gay marriage. Most think it's fine, and pointless to fight it. The left will really stir this up against the right. Karger just gives them the chance, and they're going to play it to the hilt.

Ok, lot to respond to.

First, I haven't written a lot about all of the major talk radio heads. I could easily compile a list of the stupid remarks that Rush has made over the years. I did not pull Fischer out of my rear end just to make a point. Presidential candidates regularly go on his show. He is in Iowa. He is influential.

Second, I do not wish to shut down the government through legislation. I do wish to encourage conservatives not to listen to these morons.

Third, I call Fischer a Christianist because I don't believe he is really a Christian. A Christianist, in my view, is somebody who tries to force others to adapt a Christian culture without there being any spiritual awakening. It is the Taliban without the violence.

When I first saw his name, and the word bigot, I assumed it was about a close ally of Mike Huckabee.

After reading your 2 pieces on him, I can see that he and Huckabee were cast from the same mold.

At least this guy seems more honest about his bigotry.

Pablo, I guess the thing that gets me riled is that people like Fischer and Deace actually have an audience in Iowa. They wouldn't last 5 minutes here. Who in the world listens to people like this??? Then they tell me not to diss Iowa.

Like I said before, I hope Romney hardly steps one foot in Iowa.
