Other than Huckabee, Gingrich is the scariest candidate the GOP will field this turn. I have mentioned how I find Huntsman and Johnson objectionable, and I still do. But I don't think that either of them stand much chance of winning the nomination. Gingrich, however, has a chance. He would be a disastrously bad president, that is if he could beat Obama, which I doubt he can.

I sure hope he flames out in IA.
I could see him dragging this thing out as long as possible and then deciding not to run.
All the while, his speaking fees will rise. Dvd/book sales as well.

How can anyone that strong moral values consider this man?
Newt seems brilliant enough to quote whole history books. But I don’t trust him with official authority. I wouldn’t even vote for him for congress.
