"I am done whining to a liberal press"

Then what on earth is Palin going to talk about now? Public policy?

I hope that she means what she says. Her crusade against the media has hurt her more than anything else with moderates. If she can't handle criticism, then she can't be president. Maybe now she has finally learned to stop reacting to every perceived insult thrown her way. At the end of the day, it really doesn't matter what the press thinks of Palin. The only thing that matters is what Palin would do to restore economic growth, lower health care costs, stop Qaddafi, and create alternate sources of energy. If Palin wants to lead, then she will direct her attention to actual issues. If she just wants to make money and engage in identity politics, then she will continue with her bread and butter whining about the media.

Let's not engage in a personality cult here at Right Speak. The conservative movement should not be about personalities. It should be about ideas. It really doesn't matter if Romney or Palin win the nomination. What matters are the ideas that drive the movement. Right now, the conservative movement is not being driven by ideas.

If you are not willing to criticize your favorite candidate, then you are engaging in a personality cult. I think that are many reasons throughout history why that is never a good idea.

It will be refreshing if she stops reacting to every screwy thing that is said about her.

The idea in the past has always been, if she reacted, then her reaction becomes the next thing the media goes after.

Be like Mitt Romney, PICK YOUR FIGHTS and THE HELL with the media and press.

Pablo,

OK...I'll bite. I agree that Palin would be better served if she did not respond to every thing the media says. That is the job of her surrogates. Let them handle that.

Now that I was critical of Palin, let's see if any Rombots are willing to say anything critical of him. I have a feeling that I will be waiting a long time.

I am not talking about you Pablo because I know that you have said critical things about Romney in the past.

I watch SP a lot. I still never heard her whine. She is typically asked about the lies thrown at her. She knows those with the title of ‘journalist’ should be a journalist. She just calls a liar, a liar. Good for her. The ‘whining’ meme is just another way her opponents use to try to shut her up. Ain’t happening.

Pablo - It’s a crusade against the corrupt part of the media. (Apparently, most of it.) It is a necessary and worthy cause. I’m glad someone has the cojones to fight it.

And people wonder why Palin is not taken seriously:

Sarah will continue to play the victim card every chance she gets. I doubt she will run for president. She knows her opponents will rip her to shreds and her skin is way to thin to be able to deal with that.

Who cares?
News is news. They are quoting her Tweet today that contradicts what she said in Pablo's post.

She's not about to distance herself from one of the only things that keeps her relevant (to her base).

Anon, Rev2010, Conman - You don't know Palin - But you will.
