Does Huck Think You're This Stupid?

Another Huckism:

As Media Matters previously noted, Mike Huckabee defended his remarks that Obama grew up in Kenya by falsely claiming on The O'Reilly Factor that "if I'd read from my own text, page 183 of my book, I clearly said he grew up in Indonesia." Huckabee also made a similar remark on The Mike Gallagher Show.

Huckabee's claim is a lie. He did not mention Indonesia on page 183, and based on a search of the Kindle version of his book, Huckabee makes no mention of Indonesia (or Indonesian, Jakarta, and Menteng).

Media Matters contacted Huckabee's Huck PAC and asked them to point us to where Huckabee wrote that Obama was raised in Indonesia. We have not received a response to our requests.

Huckabee's page 183 explanation was criticized yesterday by CNN anchor John King, who noted that they also looked at the page and "Indonesia" was nowhere to be found.

This is too much. If Palin would have made the same statements, and then lied about her book like Huck did, at least 2 billion people world wide would know about it by now.

Well RW, I can only sing to our small congregation here.

Oh brother. Huck knows his fans don't know or care.

Let he who lives in a class house cast the first stone.

Cmon guys, Leave the Reverend alone.

What's important is not what he says or how he says it. It's what's in his heart.

The Reverend has always had a soft spot for the downtrodden like myself and my friends.

He knows what it's like to make a mistake or 2..or more. He knows the importance of forgiveness.

Go easy on him. He's our only hope.

Apparently huckabee does think we all ARE idiots. Its a shame! To think he can just say he mentions it on page 183 of his book and thinks we'll just take his word on it and not check it. Ive always said he is a back stabbing slimy and crooked christian.

The sad thing is hes already playing the "victim" on this. If this had been romney or palin, forget about it, we would have already been hearing calls to crucify them.

This is hilarious, Dan. And not a Huckabee supporter in sight. You can't defend the indefensible.
