300,000 Protest Government Cuts in London

Fueled by anger at drastic government cuts, 500,000 protesters took to the streets of London yesterday in the largest protest since the city’s 2003 march against the Iraq war.

Few parts of British life will remain untouched by the massive $130 billion in cuts to public services now being rolled out by the coalition government. Local budgets are being slashed by up to 30 percent, leading to cuts in child care, public safety, programs for retirees, and library closures — and an increasing privatization of the popular, publicly-funded National Health Services.

I think the band’s name was, “Ten Years After.” - (I’d love to change the world)

“Tax the rich. Feed the poor.
Until there are, rich no more.”

Then what do you do?

I have always wondered why they call pro-government activists "anarchists." I thought anarchists HATE government. I heard on the radio today that there are others that agree with me. The better term for these people is probably PRO-BIG-GOVERNMENT ACTIVISTS or PRO-MARXIST ACITIVISTS.

This, of course, would hurt the prevailing media opinion that only people on the right are violent and do destructive things. People on the Left are always well behaved, and when they aren't, they have a reason for misbehaving. See how those tortured Pro-gay-marriage activists were persecuted. They just HAD to vent their feelings after the vote on Mormons and the White Knights. Vandalism, obstruction, and job losses NEEDED to happen to the Mormons because gay marriage is a just cause, which they thwarted. The media never did tell the whole truth about all the damage inflicted on religious people in California because of their stance against gay marriage.
