Wisconsin Budget Crisis UPDATE: Democrats AWOL

This is a follow-up to my previous Post on the Wisconsin budget crisis
With Wisconsin Senate minority leader saying Democrats are hiding "in a place that is hard for them to find" in order to postpone a vote on slashing union rights, Wisconsin's Republican governor is demanding Democrats end their "theatrics" and "show up for work."

DNC playing role in Wisconsin protests:
The Democratic National Committee's Organizing for America arm -- the remnant of the 2008 Obama campaign -- is playing an active role in organizing protests against Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker's attempt to strip most public employees of collective bargaining rights.
OfA, as the campaign group is known, has been criticized at times for staying out of local issues like same-sex marriage, but it's riding to the aide of the public sector unions who hoping to persuade some Republican legislators to oppose Walker's plan. And while Obama may have his difference with teachers unions, OfA's engagement with the fight -- and Obama's own clear stance against Walker -- mean that he's remaining loyal to key Democratic Party allies at what is, for them, a very dangerous moment.

"Wis. GOP sends state troopers after Democrat" About freaking time. BTW, I am still waiting for liberal and Moderate Republicans to speak against union violence like they did in AZ. The silence is almost funny.

It's no wonder our kids are not on top when matched against students from other nations. Here, teaching is a job. In many other countries, it's a vocation.

All the unions are being asked to do is contribute more in line with the realities of the private sector.

Now, they've offered to meet the governor, but refuse to give up the "collective bargaining" rights. Funny, the same job, teachers, that wouldn't consider merit pay in Washington, because it was such a threat to the dead wood teachers in the system.

It's time for a change. America needs to remake this "union" situation with the public employees. Even FDR understood the ridiculous danger is allowing unions in the federal government.

The unions in the private sector, if they make themselves too expensive, the companies can move. Companies can relocate, they can outsource.

There isn't any competition in the public sector. Ergo, the demands go without being met with any "competition."

For years, people were underpaid. Yes, unions helped correct that. Now, they exist only to protect their special interests.

You cannot have a closed system, without competition, where taxpayers are held hostage.

Notice how the teachers are now being given "Dr." notices? They realized, they can be fired.

Personally, I'd investigate the Dr. in Wisconsin, (if they are in Wisconsin) and pull their medical license for fraud.

Teachers are engaging in political activities on the taxpayers dime/time. That's not allowed. Fire all of them for cause.

Tell them you show up on Tuesday for your job, or your job will be posted on the job opening boards. You will be fired for cause. (Political activities on the taxpayers' dime/time.)

Ask them, is this reallly where you want your career to end? If you have it so bad, leave. We'll get 100 resumes for every job opening. We'll hire "non" union teachers, and they'll receive merit pay, and not have to pay a dime to the unions.

You've got 24 hours to think about it. Is this how you want your career to end?

I can't believe these people can't be discharged from there elected position for continued obstruction of SOMETHING.

I would think at a certain point there must be some law that would kick in.

these Democrats have technically DIED, RESIGNED, quit, ? The Governor should have the right to appoint replacements until an election can be held.

Drs' notes? I'd go after the Drs engaging in fraud then. Have their licenses pulled.

And until that? I'd get the names of every single Dr on a note turned in by one of those teachers. First, find out, is the Dr real? If not, you charge the teacher with fraud, on top of engaging in a political activity on the taxpayer dime/time.

NOW, they lose their pension for fraud, on top of losing their job.

Second, publish the names of the Drs that engaged in the fraud. Make sure you put down their names, and their office addresses.

Let the free market take care of those Drs who engage in fraudulent behavior. See how many partners or practices they're invited to join. . .see how many patients want to go to a Dr that is a fraud. . . .

Then go after their licenses. . . . .

It's called, suffering the consequences of your own behavior. You want to do this? You think so little of your career and your 400K education?

Ohhhhhhkayyyyyyyyyyyyyy. . . . . .
