Palin hires chief-of-staff

CNN Reports:
Sarah Palin has added a veteran Republican strategist to serve as chief-of-staff for her political action committee, Sarah PAC, CNN has learned.

Michael Glassner, an attorney and longtime adviser to former Kansas senator and presidential candidate Bob Dole, has signed on to steer the former Alaska governor's political operation as she considers a possible 2012 presidential bid.

During the 2008 presidential campaign, Glassner managed vice presidential operations during John McCain's unsuccessful White House bid.

[...]
I can't imagine she would have made this move if she was planning on riding off into the sunset. Glassner was also part of George W. Bush's campaign in 2000.

So, if she runs and when she loses big, will she then exit stage right?

HOW ANYONE CAN VOTE THIS WOMAN TO LEAD THIS COUNTRY IS BEYOND ME. SHE CAN HELP THE GOP IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE EXCEPT LEAD THIS COUNTRY.

Good. I really hope that she runs because all the arguments need to be settled once and for all about whether or not she is viable. And the only way to do that is to run.

Here's a thought. What state does she plan to zero in on as the FIRST WIN in here column.

My guess is, IOWA. hahahaha! Because that's her only shot at winning early. I wonder how Huckabee will feel about that?

Bos, Huck isn't running. She will focus on South Carolina as well. Without Huck in the race, most states are in winnable for Palin, including New Hampshire is she decides to put it in play.

Anon, that's all you got...5? In almost 3 years on the national stage and all you have is 5. Your #3 is silly...as is she couldn't think of a founder if she wanted to pick just one...don't be stupid...or include the rest of her statement...but that would require intellectual honesty...something you're incapable of?

Your number 5 never happened so you actually only have 4.

Nice try though.

I'm glad to see that Palin is making steps toward a run but I'm not sure how I feel about one of McCain's team members running her PAC...they didn't do that great of a job running his campaign. Maybe he should come out and denounce Nicole Wallace?

BOTTOM LINE, THE LADY IS AN IDIOT. SHES ONLY AFTER HER OWN FAME AND FORTUNE. SHE QUIT AS GOV TO PURSUE HER OWN FAME AND FORTUNE. EVERY POLL INDICATES OBAMA WILL WIPE THE FLOOR (OR HIS ASS) WITH HER. SHES OVERWHELMINGLY DISLIKED BY THE NATION, AND THE GOP WILL LOOK TO ANOTHER 4 YEARS OF BARACK OBAMA IF SHE IS THE NOMINEE. TELL ME ONE THING THAT QUALIFIES HER TO BECOME PRESIDENT. SHE IS A COMPLETE MOR0N. SHE BLEW THE CAMPAIGN FOR MCCAIN AND SHES ABOUT TO BLOW IT FOR THE GOP. SHE LACKS THE EXPERIENCE THAT THE OTHER CANDIDATES HAVE.
