USA Today/Gallup Poll: Palin's favorable rating at it's lowest

Palin's 38% favorable rating is her lowest (by two percentage points) since she became a well-known political figure after the 2008 Republican national convention, and her 53% unfavorable rating is her worst by a point. Palin has been a central figure in the recent debate over whether political rhetoric -- including hers -- was partly behind the Tucson shootings. Last week, she responded to these allegations by posting a much-publicized video response on the Internet. The recent news has not done much to change Americans' opinions of Palin, though.

Survey Methods:
Results for this USA Today/Gallup poll are based on telephone interviews conducted Jan. 14-16, 2011, with a random sample of 1,032 adults, aged 18 and older, living in the continental U.S., selected using random-digit-dial sampling.
For results based on the total sample of national adults, one can say with 95% confidence that the maximum margin of sampling error is ±4 percentage points.

I think part of the problem is over exposure.

Maybe there is something to the saying, Absence Makes The Heart Grow Fonder.

Is this really a surprise to anyone who is not a Palin supporter?

Sarah continues her downward spiral as her base continues to ignore reality.

Conman, her base is THE base.

The reality is that no one knows if she is running or not and these polls don't mean much of anything until the primary and the debates begin.

One thing I do know is that I will have a very tough time supporting either Romney or Huckabee due to some of their most ardent and disrespectful supporters. I can't be the only Palin supporter who feels the same way. If Palin doesn't run or if she crashes and burns in the primaries one thing is for sure...her endorsement will be worth more than anybody else's in the GOP combined...so you guys might want to start thinking about that.

Get real, New Jersey.

Palin supporters are the most disrespectful towards Huckabee and Romney on the entire internet.

Try ConsForPalin, Malkin, and HotAir websites and see how they ridicule Mike and Mitt nonstop.

Anon, I cannot speak for other Palin supporters who visit every other site on the web. I can only speak for what I see on the sites I do visit. On these sites both Palin and her supporters are ridiculed to the point where I question the candidate they support. There are people like Craig and Martha who visit every other Republican forum and post their same old nonsense that has nothing to do with policy or the issues only a trollish vitriol that is reminiscent of Democrat standards. These people and the people on this board like Conman and phil are the reasons I can never vote for Huckabee or Romney.
