The New Congress Readies To Repeal Obamacare

The new Congress doesn't believe in letting the grass grow under their feet and will be voting next week to repeal the Health Care law. The GOP Repeal Bill has only two pages and is called, 'Repealing the Job-Killing Health Care Law Act.'

The two Page Bill can be viewed HERE.

An actual repeal of the health care law is unlikely to become law at this point. The Democrats still have the majority in the Senate and the President himself could veto the measure. So the Republicans' call to undo President Obama's signature legislation could be more symbolic, a way for the GOP to start a new year when it controls the House by sending a defiant message.

Full story is HERE.

In a related story, here is Bill O'Reilly's take on any potential confrontations in the new congress over Obamacare:

They will need to begin somewhere and get the ball rolling to appease the voters who have sent a clear message last November.

I agree that at this point, it's probably more symbolic.

Until we have the vote in both the House & Senate AND a Republican President, It's just a lot of wishful thinking.

The best case scenario is that it will let the voters know, who is for repeal and who is not.
