"OR, maybe Bachmann sees that palin is not electable, so she'll run to soak up Palin votes not expecting to win." Just asking, but what sense does that make?
Bachmann is even more reviled by the left here in MN than Palin is nationwide. If her message (which is a good one) were to go national, she would face the same level of scrutiny, if not more. The difference is that I don't think Bachmann can ramp it up in time for 2012. She doesn't possess the same "star qualities" that Palin has. Having said that, she has every right to try if she wants. Ultimately, I believe she will stay out and endorse either Pawlenty (most likely) or Palin.

Romney-Bachmann in 2012!
Anon,
I could live with that.
That wouldn't be a bad ticket!
Although I'd much prefer:
Romney / DeMint in 2012!
Maybe Bachmann realizes that Palin is not electable and sees an opening?

Rev,
I kind of like Bachmann as well.
I could live with a Romney / Bachmann ticket if DeMint was unavailable.
I'm not sure she is running as much as perhaps trying to position herself for the second slot
I like Michelle. But she's no more ready to be President than Palin or Obama was.
