Chris Cillizza: Palin had the Worst Week In Washington.

According to Cillizza,
Sarah Palin learned that the hard way this past week, when a statement she released hoping to quell the controversy that surrounded her after the attempted assassination of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.) only helped create a new and even larger controversy....

.....The episode reinforced the notion that Palin is still teetering between conservative celebrity (a la Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck) and serious politician. Her actions suggest that she is more comfortable in the former camp, which is fine -- unless you'd like to be elected president of the United States someday.
Full story is HERE.

C4P and the rest of the Sarah cult are going to be so mad when they read THAT.

Cillizza is ONLY telling it like it is.

Chrissy never liked the commonsense constitutional conservative in the first place. It may have been a bad day with the media, but it was a good day with the people.

I know I wrote this somewhere, but again -

The day of her video:
She gained over 10,000 fans that day on Facebook.
And that put her over 2.6 million fans on that day.
Over 20,000 “Likes” of her video that day.

If that was a bad day for Palin, she will be president. That's what the numbers say.

Bill,

There is far more to being a President than having 3 million fans on Facebook. Have you never heard of a President named Barack Obama? He was a celebrity, too. How competent has he been?

Sarah Palin is very smart. Having been the governor of a state and a VP candidate, she is acutely aware of the difference between being liked and being able to do the job. She quit her job as Governor, and that was as the chief executive of a small state. Do you really, really think she wants to put her foot in another beartrap (a much tougher one, I might add) again just to satisfy your fantasies?

Show the lady some respect, will you?

Cillizza nailed it. Palin better decide real quick. She can't win the Presidency with out the non-kool-aid sippers and right now they're not buying.

Bill.

"She gained over 10,000 fans that day on Facebook."

So what your telling us is that Palin benefited from the tragedies in Arizona.

Just think if Romney had made the tragedies about him rather than about them, He too might have added a few members.

Ignorant comment of the day. You just said EXACTLY what the hacks at ABC said. Who exactly made the tragedies about Palin? Be honest...

Right WingNUT,

"Who exactly made the tragedies about Palin? Be honest... "

She did!.
I thought I made my opinion clear last comment.

I realize as a Palin supporter who probably associates mostly with other Palin supporters and is used to the collective group's heads nodding up and down in agreement, but there are some, that are looking at things through non-rose colored glasses and see things as they truly are rather than the way we'd like them to be.

Congratulations. The ignorance displayed in your last comment surpassed the ignorance displayed in the first.

Welcome to Right Speak...

Right WingNUT,

I'm just one of those pesk 70% of Americans who KNOW Palin is not qualified.

Her performance last week will no doubt raise those numbers.

I take it that you are in the 30% group?

RWN,

Why must you resort to insulting when someone gets the best of you?

ConMan made some excellent points.

Right Wingnut said...

Phil,

He didn't get the best of anyone by stating that Palin made the tragedy about her. That statement was either made out of ignorance or dishonesty. Take your pick.

"She did!." You have been living under a box lately, ConMan. Get a clue!

marK 8:07pm - please don't play that game...it's so transparent and so equally offensive. You know why she resigned as Governor...personal bankruptcy. Please don't act as if she's too smart to do something she cannot handle...save your back handed compliments for someone who doesn't understand your immature game.

Wow, I am surprised at the amount of ignorance in these comments and they call the Palin people stupid.

Cillizza is correct.

I thought Conman made a pretty good point (:00) about Palin's Facebook fan increase. Hardly a reason for rejoice.

marK said...

Jersey,

Did she or did she not quit?

Was she impeached? Was she recalled? Did she die in office?

No. She quit. Whether or not "it was for the good of Alaska", she quit. Whether or not "it was for personal bankruptcy", she quit. Whether or not she was driven from office by frivolous lawsuits, she quit.

You want me to lie and say it was something else?

Anonymous said...

marK, you're a piece of work! Nobody said you were lying, I said you were implying that she resigned because she was incapable of handling the job.

Nice spin though.

BTW, aren't you writing for Race anymore?
