"He is simply stating what the majority of Americans are saying." And just two years ago (even one year ago,) the majority of Americans said that Mr. Obama was a great man. I for one am not impressed by him.
Krauthammer, the man of Carter and Mondale, says the conservative can’t win. Chris Mathews, Keith Olberman, and other liberals say it too. They say it almost daily for years now. Scared much? Of course he would rather have a moderate run.
"Romney, Huckabee, Gingrich, Daniels, Pence, Barbour?" With the exception of Mr. Pence, all of these gentlemen listed have issues with poor judgment to one degree or another.

CK's take is old news. Nobody is surprised. In addition, he seems awfully impressed by Obama lately.
Next.
RWN,
Don't you think he brings up some valid points?
Either he's in lA lA land, or you are.
Which is it?
Krauthammer is correct.
Unless Palin changes a lot in the next year, her chances are slim at best. Her chances are Much better at the #2 spot!
I said better.
Romney & DeMint in 2012!
zeke
I'm afraid that this is Sarah Palin's reality.
That's not to say that if she works on her favorability with Independents, moderates, and take a more INCLUSIVE view of the party, this could change.
I've always respected the views of Krauthammer.
I don't believe he is saying these things to be mean sprited. He is simply stating what the majority of Americans are saying.

Krauthammer didn’t think much of Reagan either.
But - Reagan did win. And so will Palin.
Bill,
Obviously you are not paying attention in the polls.
Palin does lead with conservatives but Romney, Huckabee, and Gingrich are usually within the MOE.
Romney on the other hand, has moderates and Independents to himself with Huckabee show spurts of support there as well.
If a Republican is to beat Obama or Hillary, They will need moderates and independents as well
Krauthammer mentions 6 that are more qualified. Any guesses who they are?
Romney, Huckabee, Gingrich, Daniels, Pence, Barbour?

No more (and for most, less) than Governor Palin.
