McClatchy-Marist Poll: Only Romney Defeats Obama

Mitt Romney is once again the only Republican who can beat President Obama if the election was held today.

McClatchy-Marist published the results of a poll yesterday that seems to validate what the PPP polls have been saying all along. Mitt Romney can defeat President Obama.

According to McClatchy-Marist:
President Barack Obama's approval ratings have sunk to the lowest level of his presidency, so low that he'd lose the White House to Republican Mitt Romney if the election were held today, according to a new McClatchy-Marist poll. ........(obama) he's not picking up support among independents and he's having some fall-off among his base. If his strategy is to gain independents and keep the Democrats in tow, it isn't working so far."

I can't wait to hear the Palin and Huck supporters discount this post like they have the PPP.

They can't all be wrong.

It's obvious the Romney has the best chance of beating Obama in the general. We just have to make sure he is the nominee.
