A Place for All Conservatives to Speak Their Mind.
Ouch! I can just hear Mitt now, Nooooooo! Can't wait to see them out stumping for Mitt. Hopefully GW will be there too? Everyone I know has been waiting with baited breath to know who GHW and Barbara favor in '12. At least this will help him with the squishy RINO crowd. Oh, wait. He alreadly has that locked up.
Right Wingnut,Do you really think Palin can win with ONLY her base? How about the general as well?
I love the Bush's. I especially like the part about being respectful to those with whom you disagree. That is so needed.that is so, not Palin.
The Hot Air folks are having fun with this too.http://hotair.com/archives/2010/11/23/george-h-w-bush-romneys-my-favorite-in-2012/
Right Wingnut,Are we supposed to care what some guy says on hotair?zeke
As much fun as some pretend to have with this is, it is extremely obvious they would absolutely love to have all the Bushes behind their candidate. Since they don't, the pretend like it's a bad thing for Mitt. I know Ohio Joe liked George W. I wonder if he'll man up and admit it now and that this is a good thing for Mitt, not bad. Others are too dishonest to admit it.
Barbara and GHB, and GW desperately want Jeb to run for president. He's already ruled out 2012. If a Republican wins in '12, he would have to wait to 2020. I don't think the Bush family wants to wait that long. Let's face it, Barbara an GHW may not live until 2020. 2016 is likely their last chance to see Jeb get elected president,Connect the dots...
RWN - You 8:54pm is really a stretch. You would be trumpeting to the heavans if they said Sarah was their favorite. I don't think this will influence anyone. But Bab's comment was pretty funny,
I have always liked the demeanor of Bush 1. Very Presidential. I think Romney's demeanor in many respects, is similar. Both are class acts,
"I know Ohio Joe liked George W. I wonder if he'll man up and admit it now and that this is a good thing for Mitt, not bad." Yes unfortunately, this is not a bad thing for Mr. Romney. The whole interview was disappointing and I am sad that the Bushes are supporting such characters.OHIO JOE
...Congrats...to Mitt...? This whole post is based in the land of political posturing. Relevancy means nothing in posture land but I find it kind of funny that the clip you use, as proof that the Bush family is behind the Presidential aspirations of former Governor Romney is labeled, "Jeb would be a good President."Too funny...JR
