NYC cop allegedly dismissed heinous murder suspect turning himself in at NYPD stationhouse:

The monster accused of fatally beating Lovay Williams in front of her 7-year-old daughter earlier this month tried to turn himself in at a Washington Heights NYPD stationhouse, but was shown the exit instead, The Post has learned.

Tiliek Shamel Thompson and his two cousins went to the 33rd Precinct station around 5 a.m. on Sept. 11, but officers dropped the ball, the NYPD acknowledged.

“His two cousins said, ‘You’re looking for him,’” lawyer Neville Onielle Dexter Mitchell said, explaining that the cousins told cops they were there about Williams’ death.

The cop who was at the desk said, “I just came back from vacation. Nobody’s here,” according to Mitchell.

But an NYPD spokeswoman who reviewed audio and video of the encounter disputed that narrative and said the family didn’t tell the police officer that cops were looking for Thompson.

The cop misunderstood and thought the three were members of the murder victim’s family, the spokeswoman said, adding that the officer passed that information onto his sergeant.

The cop mentioned his vacation to explain that he was away when Williams was murdered, the spokeswoman said.

The cop then gave one of the cousins a phone number for squad detectives and sent the group on its way. --->READ MORE HERE

How fiend allegedly ‘brutally murdered’ NYC mom in front of daughter, 7, revealed — as victim’s dad demands he get ‘gas chamber’

The fiend who allegedly fatally beat a mom in front of her 7-year-old daughter and then left the frightened tot with the body whined in Manhattan court Sunday that he needed to be put in protective custody.

Tiliek Shamel Thompson, 41, beat to death 27-year-old Lovay Williams with her child in the home, then carted off evidence in blue shopping bags and cut his hair to try to dodge detection, prosecutors and the victim’s kin said.

“Give him the gas chamber!” the dead woman’s father, Nuquan Williams, screamed at Judge Linda Capitti during Thompson’s arraignment.

Thompson was ordered held without bail on charges including murder and strangulation for the grisly Sept. 6 slaying inside Lovay Williams’ Washington Heights apartment.

He turned himself in to cops Saturday after receiving numerous threats, according to his lawyer, Neville “Nod” Mitchell — who asked the judge to provide the accused killer with protective measures while in jail.

“I would ask for protective services,’’ Mitchell said, adding that his client told him he “has a psych diagnosis.”

Williams’ fuming aunt Missy Wright later said outside court, “How dare you ask for protected custody.

“How dare you ask the courts to protect you.”

Another cousin, Lexus Singleton, said, “ It’s just very frustrating.

“His lawyer tried to make him like he was an angel, and it was a slap in the face to the family. But one thing I will say, we will get justice, and we have strong evidence on this case. So he will not get away with this.”
