War update: 186 clashes on front line, Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka sectors remain hottest:
There were 186 combat clashes on the front line, with Ukraine’s Defense Forces repelling more than 40 Russian attacks on the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka sectors combined.
Ukrinform reported this, citing operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook as of 22:00 on August 30, 2026.
“A total of 186 combat clashes have taken place since the beginning of the day. The aggressor carried out 57 airstrikes using 193 guided aerial bombs, deployed 7,190 kamikaze drones for attacks, and conducted 2,085 strikes against our troops’ positions and populated areas,” the General Staff said.
According to the General Staff, in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, the enemy launched one attack and carried out 43 strikes against the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions three times toward Vovchanski Khutory, Volokhivka, and Rybalchyne.
In the Kupiansk sector, Russian forces made five attempts to improve their positions by conducting assault operations toward Dovhenke, Radkivka, and Kupiansk.
In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 10 attempts by Russian troops to advance near Novoselivka, Stavky, and Lyman, as well as near Hrekivka and Dibrova. Two of these attacks are still ongoing.
In the Sloviansk sector, the Defense Forces stopped five attempts by Russian forces to advance near Kryva Luka, Dibrova, Zakitne, Mykolaivka, and Riznykivka. Fighting continues in two locations.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian forces conducted an assault toward Fedorivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the Defense Forces repelled 20 enemy assaults near Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Novoselivka, Pavlivka, Stepanivka, Raiske, Vilne, and Kucheriv Yar. One clash is still ongoing.
The enemy launched 23 attacks in the Pokrovsk sector. Russian forces attempted to advance toward Bilytske, Dobropillia, Novohryshyne, Myrne, and Serhiivka, as well as near Novomykolaivka, Muravka, Novopidhorodne, and Udachne. Two attacks are ongoing. --->READ MORE HERE

In the Kramatorsk direction, the Russian invaders stormed towards Fedorivka.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the Defense Forces repelled 20 enemy assaults in the areas of the settlements of Kostyantynivka, Illinivka, Novoselivka, Pavlivka, Stepanivka, Raiske, Vilne, and Kucheriv Yar. One clash is still ongoing.
The enemy carried out twenty-three attacks in the Pokrovsk direction. The occupiers tried to advance towards the settlements of Bilytske, Dobropillya, Novogrishyne, Myrne, Serhiivka and in the area of Novomykolaivka, Muravka, Novopidhorodnei and Udachny. Two attacks are ongoing. --->READ MORE HERE
