Since the beginning of the day, May 29, 228 combat clashes have been recorded on the Russian-Ukrainian front. In the Pokrov direction, the Defense Forces of Ukraine stopped 44 enemy assault actions
This is stated in the summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 10:00 p.m.
Enemy shelling
The enemy carried out 63 air strikes, dropped 190 guided bombs. In addition, it engaged 5,508 kamikaze drones for destruction and carried out 1,922 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops.
Situation on the main routes
In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out 47 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, six of which were carried out using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units four times in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia, Lyman, and in the direction of Ternova.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of the Defense Forces four times today in the direction of the settlements of Kivsharivka, Novoplatonivka, and in the area of Borivska Andriivka. Two clashes are currently ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled seven attempts by the invaders to advance towards Lyman, Drobyshevy, Shykivka, and Ozerny.
In the Slavyansk direction, the Defense Forces successfully stopped one attempt by the invaders to advance in the area of the settlement of Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, our defenders stopped two enemy attacks in the area of the settlement of Nikyforivka and towards Tykhoniivka.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, our defenders stopped 11 attacks near the settlements of Kostyantynivka, Ivanopillya, Rusyn Yar, and towards Rozkishne.
In the Pokrovsky direction, since the beginning of the day, the invaders have tried 44 times to push our soldiers out of the occupied positions in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske and towards the settlements of Vilne, Toretske, Novye Shakhove, Shevchenko.
