Since the beginning of this day, a total of 203 combat engagements have taken place on the front. The enemy used over 6,000 kamikaze drones for strikes and carried out 2.2 thousand shellings, UNN reports, citing the General Staff briefing.
The adversary launched one missile strike using 22 missiles, and 46 air strikes – dropping 144 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it deployed 6,080 kamikaze drones for strikes and carried out 2,298 shellings of settlements and our troops' positions

In the Pivnichno-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions , the enemy launched one air strike today using four KABs and carried out 63 shellings of our troops' positions and settlements, one of them from an MLRS.
In the Pivdenno-Slobozhanskyi direction , the adversary attacked the positions of our units six times in the areas of Starytsia, Vilcha, Prylipka, Veterynarne, and towards Grafske. Three of these attacks are ongoing.
In the Kupiansk direction , the enemy attacked three times towards Kurylivka and Petropavlivka.
In the Lyman direction , Ukrainian warriors repelled 11 occupant assaults in the areas of Stavky, Zarichne, Drobysheve, and towards Ozerne. Two of these attacks are still ongoing.
In the Sloviansk direction , the adversary launched three assaults towards Rai-Oleksandrivka and Kalenyky.
In the Kramatorsk direction , no occupant attacks were recorded.
In the Kostiantynivka direction , the occupants launched 16 assaults today on the positions of our defenders in the areas of Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Pleshchiivka, Vilne, Toretske, and towards Kostiantynivka and Kucheriv Yar.
In the Pokrovsk direction , the enemy carried out 33 attacks. The occupiers attempted to advance towards the settlements of Dorozhne, Shevchenko, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novoserhiivka, Molodetske, Filiia, Bilytske, and Pokrovsk. --->READ MORE HERE
There were 203 combat clashes on the front line, with the heaviest fighting taking place in the Pokrovsk direction, where Russian forces lost 70 occupiers.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Facebook as of 22:00 on May 18, 2026, according to Ukrinform.
“The enemy launched one missile strike using 22 missiles and carried out 46 airstrikes, dropping 144 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they deployed 6,080 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,298 shellings of populated areas and positions of our troops,” the statement said.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out one airstrike using four guided bombs and conducted 63 attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including one using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna direction, Russian forces attacked six times near the settlements of Starytsia, Vilcha, Prylipka, Veterynarne, and toward Hrafske. Three of those clashes were still ongoing.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attacked three times toward Kurylivka and Petropavlivka.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 11 assaults near Stavky, Zarichne, Drobysheve, and toward Ozerne. Two battles were still underway.
In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy launched three assaults toward Rai-Oleksandrivka and Kalenyky.
No attacks were recorded in the Kramatorsk direction.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, Russian forces launched 16 assaults near Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Pleshchiivka, Vilne, Toretske, and toward Kostiantynivka and Kucheriv Yar.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out 33 attacks.
