Since the beginning of the day on May 21, 197 combat clashes have been recorded on the front. In the Pokrovsky direction, the Defense Forces of Ukraine stopped 43 assault actions of the aggressor
This is stated in the summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 10:00 p.m.
Enemy shelling
The enemy carried out one missile strike, using one missile, and 64 air strikes, dropping 184 guided bombs. In addition, it used 6,063 kamikaze drones to destroy the enemy and carried out 2,279 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops.
Situation on the main routes
In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, the enemy launched two airstrikes, used five CABs, and carried out 63 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops. One enemy assault action was recorded.
In the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy tried seven times to improve its position in the areas of Izbitsky, Lyman, Synelnyky, and the settlement of Vilcha.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy carried out five assault operations in the direction of Kurylivka, Kivsharivka, Novoosynovoye, and Novoplatonivka. One of these attacks is still ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repel three assaults by the occupiers, in the areas of the settlements of Zarichne and towards Lyman, Shykivka.
In the Slavyansk direction, the occupiers tried twice to improve their position towards Riznykivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attacked once in the direction of Minkivka.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the invaders carried out 19 attacks towards the settlements of Ivano-Frankivsk, Illinivka, Pleshchiivka, Vilne, Toretske, Rusyn Yar, Stepanivka, and Kostyantynivka.
In the Pokrovsky direction since the beginning of the day, the invaders have launched 43 attacks.
