Since the beginning of the day, 120 battles have been recorded on the front: in the Pokrovsky direction, the Defense Forces stopped 25 assaults:
On Wednesday, May 6, 120 combat clashes were recorded on the Russian-Ukrainian front, the Defense Forces repelled 25 enemy assaults in the Pokrov direction
This is stated in the summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 10:00 p.m.
Enemy shelling
The enemy carried out one missile strike using two missiles and 47 air strikes - dropping 173 guided aerial bombs (GABs). In addition, it used 5,649 kamikaze drones to destroy them and carried out 1,862 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops.
Situation on the main routes
In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out 59 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, including seven from multiple launch rocket systems. One assault was recorded. In addition, the occupiers carried out 5 airstrikes using 14 CABs.
In the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy tried 11 times to improve its position in the areas of Vovchansk, Starytsia and towards Liptsy, Lyman, Izbitsky, Malaya Vovcha, and Symynivka. One of these attempts is ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, the Russians have carried out six assault operations towards Kurylivka, Pishchane, Novoplatonivka, and in the Borivska Andriivka area. One attack is still ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 15 times in the direction of Nadiya, Stavka, Yampil and in the direction of Lyman, Novosergiyevka, Ozerne. One of these attacks is ongoing.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the invaders carried out 14 attacks towards the settlements of Ivano-Frankivka, Illinivka, Pleshchiivka, Stepanivka and towards Kostyantynivka and Novopavlivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the invaders have tried 25 times to push our soldiers from the occupied positions towards the settlements of Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Shevchenko, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Serhiivka, and Molodetske. War update: 120 clashes on front line, heaviest fighting in Pokrovsk sector:
There were 120 combat engagements along the front line, with Ukrainian Defense Forces repelling 25 Russian attacks in the Pokrovsk sector.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its operational update as of 22:00 on May 6, 2026, on Facebook.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian forces launched 11 attacks on Ukrainian positions near Vovchansk, Starytsia, and toward Lyptsi, Lyman, Izbytske, Mala Vovcha, and Symynivka. One of these attacks is still ongoing.
In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled six enemy attacks toward Kurylivka, Pishchane, Novoplatonivka, and near Borivska Andriivka. One attack is ongoing.
In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 15 assaults near Nadiia, Stavky, Yampil, and toward Lyman, Novoserhiivka, and Ozerne. One engagement is still ongoing.
In the Sloviansk sector, the enemy did not conduct assault operations.
In the Kramatorsk sector, no attacks were recorded.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the invaders carried out 14 assaults near Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Pleshchiivka, Stepanivka, and toward Kostiantynivka and Novopavlivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Russian forces launched 25 attacks, attempting to advance toward Nikanorivka, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Shevchenko, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Serhiivka, and Molodetske. One attack is still ongoing. --->READ MORE HERE
