On the front, there were 102 combat clashes, and in attacks on Defense Forces positions in the Pokrovsky direction, the enemy lost 115 occupiers.
This was reported by Ukrinform with reference to operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 22:00 on January 20, 2026 on Facebook.
"In total, 102 combat clashes have taken place since the beginning of this day. Today, Russian troops carried out four missile and 41 air strikes, using 38 missiles and dropping 85 guided bombs. In addition, they used 3,369 kamikaze drones to strike and carried out 2,503 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements," the publication notes.
According to the General Staff, in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions since the beginning of the day, the enemy has carried out 65 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements.
In the South-Slobozhansk direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units nine times in the Vovchansk area and towards the settlements of Izbitske, Grafske, Krugle, Nesterne, Chugunivka, four clashes are still ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, the aggressor carried out offensive actions three times towards Pishchane and Petropavlivka. One clash is still ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, Russian invaders attacked the positions of the Defense Forces ten times in the direction of the settlements of Tverdokhlibovoe, Stavky, Dibrova, and Olhivka.
Three enemy assaults were repelled by Ukrainian defenders in the Slavyansk direction - the occupiers were trying to advance in the Dronivka area.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian units repelled one enemy attack in the direction of Bondarne.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the Russians attacked the positions of Ukrainian units 13 times in the areas of the settlements of Predtechyne, Ivanopillya, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka and towards Illinivka, Stepanivka, Berestok, Novopavlivka, and Sofiivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the invaders have tried to advance on the positions of Ukrainian units 31 times. The enemy attacked in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Chervonyi Liman, Myrnograd, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Filiya, Dachne towards Novopavlivka.
