POS ALERT: Illegal Immigrant Bites ICE Officer, Draws Blood While Resisting Arrest in Louisiana: DHS; Illegal Immigrant Bites ICE Agent Leaving Hand Bloodied During Arrest

Illegal immigrant bites ICE officer, draws blood while resisting arrest in Louisiana: DHS:
A US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer in Louisiana was bitten in the hand by an illegal immigrant who was resisting arrest, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
DHS said the “gross attack” involving Maximiliano Perez-Perez happened in Tullos, a town in the central part of Louisiana.
Officials released an image purportedly showing the ICE officer’s bloodied hand following the alleged attack.
“During the arrest, Perez-Perez attempted to flee by pushing officers. He used his teeth as a weapon and clamped down on an ICE officers’ hand, breaking the skin and drawing blood,” Homeland Security said.
“This criminal illegal alien is being charged with assault after he savagely bit a law enforcement officer in an attempt to evade arrest. DHS law enforcement is facing a 1,150% increase in assaults against them and an 8,000% increase in death threats,” added DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin in a statement.
“This is the reality of what our ICE officers are facing every day as they go to work to simply do their job and enforce the law,” McLaughlin also said. --->READ MORE HERE

Illegal immigrant bites ICE agent leaving hand bloodied during arrest:
An illegal immigrant viciously bit a federal agent who was arresting him in Louisiana over Thanksgiving weekend.
In images obtained exclusively by the Daily Mail, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent is seen walking away from an arrest gushing blood from his hand after the attack.
Maximiliano Perez-Perez, an illegal immigrant from Mexico, is now facing charges for assaulting a law enforcement officer.
Perez-Perez, 22, used his teeth as a weapon, breaking the skin of the arresting ICE officer and resisting arrest in Tullos, Louisiana on November 21, 2025.
Assistant Homeland Security Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said that it's not rare for ICE and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents to be bit and hit with cars during raids and illegal immigrant arrests.
'This is the reality of what our ICE officers are facing every day as they go to work to simply do their job and enforce the law,' McLaughlin told the Daily Mail in a statement on the assault. 'Many of these assaults including biting and vehicle rammings are happening as a direct result of sanctuary politicians encouraging illegal aliens to evade arrest.'
Perez-Perez will remain in ICE custody pending removal from the US.
McLaughlin said that DHS agents are facing a 1,150 percent increase in assaults and 8,000 percent increase in death threats. --->READ MORE HERE
