'The Server Will Remain Private'

Obstruction: Hillary Clinton would have us all believe she's just another working mother separating office emails from the cookie recipes Chelsea sends her. People don't use private servers to protect their yoga schedule.

Something just too ironic was hanging on the wall next to her during the brief press conference given on Tuesday at the United Nations by Hillary Clinton: the UN's copy of the famous Picasso painting, "Guernica," filled with the contorted, suffering faces of victims of Spain's civil war.

Watching Hillary's forced smiles and obvious discomfort, one wonders if any of Picasso's figures were in as much pain as the woman standing at the rostrum worrying that a chance for the presidency was being deleted.

This was no repeat of the 1994 "pink" press conference, when for 68 minutes "she bored the media to death with detailed, numbers-heavy responses," as Politico's Glenn Thrush and Maggie Haberman put it in an article last year on Hillary's future.

This one only lasted 20 minutes, much of which was taken up by a drawn-out opening statement on "gender equality"; it was the opposite of a marathon.

Its message was simple: I was just trying to juggle work and home — like all you millions of other working mothers struggling to keep from ending up "dead broke," the way poor Bill and I were when he left the White House.
