Ted Cruz's dad rocks the house at Free The People Conference (Video)

This is an amazing speech. If Ted Cruz runs for president in 2016, his father needs to be a prominent figure in the campaign from day one. Cruz frequently tells his father's inspiring story, but it's so much more powerful when hearing it directly from Rafael Cruz, himself.

After watching this speech, I'm more convinced than ever that Ted Cruz is for real. His father wouldn't have it any other way.

Watch...

  3. Anon, if you actually take the time to watch the 11:00 speech, it will be very clear as to why Ted Cruz is where he is. I doubt you'll will though. Good luck to you.

  4. Phenomenal speech by Ted Cruz's dad. One of the best I've ever heard. I've been a HUGE FAN of Ted Cruz since he ran for Senator in 2012, but now I'm a bigger fan of his dad.

  5. The Dems would be licking their chops at the prospect of Cruz in a general lol. Mass goldwater-like blowout.
However, dreamland if you think he would get the nom anyway.

  6. Glen Beck a 'modern-day John the Baptist?

    I rest my case.

  7. Glenn Beck appeared at the same conference. Who cares, anyway? Regardless of what you think of Beck, his shout out doesn't detract from his life story, and how he raised his son.

Meanwhile, your buddy Rubio is rubbing elbows with Chuck Schumer and Lindsey Graham. I'll take Glenn Beck any day of the week over those two.

  8. @ RomneyMan

Cruz would lose in a Barry Goldwater-like blowout?

That's what they said about Ronald Reagan's candidacy in 1980.

How did that work out for the Dems?

Goldwater got blown away by LBJ for lots of reasons, none of which had anything to do with his conservatism.

Also, I hate to break the news to you, but Cruz is treated like a ROCK STAR by the GOP's conservative base.

He gets more speaking invitations than all the other Republican 2016 hopefuls COMBINED, including your personal favorite, Marco THE TRAITOR Rubio.

  11. Walker is not supporting this bill.

The list of politicians I trust right now is very, very short.
